Chapter- 10 He was worth it.

The unmistakable sound of feet smacking against the concrete could be heard.

She turned around ever so slightly,

She could see him.

He was only getting closer,

And closer,

And closer.

She did the only thing she could think of.

She ran.

As fast as she could,

When she reached the corner

She hid herself behind a house.

She then watched as he stopped in confusion.

Wondering where the girl went.

He let out a scream of frustration,

And then made his way home.

Making sure he was out of sight,

She did the same.

He had to know!

He had to understand he was worth it.

Letting her hair fall from the beanie,

She was left alone on the rain soaked path home,

With nothing but her determined thoughts.
