She left a ribbon.

She knew it was dangerous.

But she had to.

She couldn't stand it,

Everyday she walked by him,

And everyday she looked at him,

Praying he would too.

And everyday he passed her,

Without a second glance.

She could see that he was troubled by the letters.

He wanted to know,

Who it was sending them.

And she tried.

She tried setting up a patten,

So that he might catch her in the act.

She tried, literally leaving it at his feet.

And now she was leaving clues!

Not that he would even understand it.

But she always wore a white ribbon.

In her hair,

On her wrist.

Somewhere.

He wouldn't get it though,

Because he never saw her.

And maybe this shouldn't bother her,

But it did.

It hurt.

And when she thought longer on it,

She found that maybe,

It was because

What her letters said,

were true.

She loved him.

And he didn't see her.

And that hurt more then anything.

And it that moment,

it came to her...
