She tucked the crumpled up letter under her hoodie.
And trusted her memory to get her where she needed to go.
When she could see his street.
She tucked her hair up in her beanie.
And pulled her hoodie tighter.

He ignored the loud ringing,
Coming from the doorbell.
The sound of his mothers voice yelling his name
however,
could not be ignored.
Quickly looking out his bedroom window,
He could see a figure walking away from his house.
With stray pieces of raven black hair falling from her hat.
Obeying his mothers wishes,
He met her down stairs.
"This is for you"
Was all she said before walking out of the house.
His breath hitched when he looked down at the familiar letter.

You'He crumpled it up and tossed it the closest trash bin.
No one loved him,
He thought.
No one ever had and no one Ever will.
He wished this anonymous writer would figure that out.
Then he had an idea.
Grabbing his coat he ran out of his house slamming the door.
Looking both ways,
He ran after the very distant figure,
Who only minutes ago had delivered a letter.
