Jonathan is the beloved main director of the show. He is just as much of a teddy bear offset as he is on.

He did bring his dog, Danny, in to film. Danny is a good dog and plays gently with Iggy.
Jonathan and Dio are best friends in reality and can be seen joking and teasing each other when not working.
He and Speedwagon are also friends. They are the ones who help set up scenes with props and help everyone get everything right.

Jonathan is a little clumsy and has on several occasions hit himself with the prop sword. He and Erina are married. He cried when he saw his wife in a costume wedding dress, she was so beautiful. The scene had to be reshot many times.

George was his actual father, George died of a heart attack onset. Production stopped that day. The cast and crew held a funeral for him. There is a memorial at the set now dedicated to George.

Always jolly, Jonathan is the first to laugh at pranks that the crew do. He has a good sense of humor and is kind. He is just as gentlemanly in real life as he is onset. He always goes to the children's ward when he visits hospitals to visit the boys and girls. He and Giorno are the children's favorites.

Jonathan wrote most of the script with Dio and Erina. Speedwagon added some parts that became popular.
He does not particularly like swearing, but with all of the improvisation, there is more swearing than he wants there to be.

The man is hard to make clothes for. Suzie Q and Prosciutto get a little fed up over how huge he is. They had to work hard to make sure his outfits were comfortable, easy to move in, breathable and do not chafe.
He and Erina both cried at the last scene they played in. Those tears were real.

As a director. He is fair but stern.
He laughs if it is a fair mistake, he will laugh if the actors are being silly. Giorno had made him laugh on several occasions.
He loves when Esidisi makes barbecue. Makes him happy.

When not directing on set, he is either having friendly banter with the rest of the cast and crew, or with his wife.

BLOOPERS:
Jonathan has flubbed his lines many times.
He has also stumbled during scenes. His most famous blooper was loosing his grip on the sword and having it hit Dio. Dio fell off the balcony prop and screamed, "Curse your clumsiness!"
