Rena was surprised to see the siren sitting upright when she walked in. For the past few days, he had been giving her quite a bit of information in return for glasses of water.

He had told her that he was one of the sirens part of Chanwoo's plan for creating shapeshifters. He along with a few other faeries were meeting to discuss the plan Chanwoo had given them. The siren was convinced that Chanwoo was still on the loose with Haechan, just hiding from the rest of them.

Rena took a seat across from him, pen and notebook in hand.

"So, last time you told me that you were meeting up with the faeries to discuss the plan for creating shapeshifters." Rena said. The siren nodded.

"Yes, that's right."

"Would you like to go more in detail on that?" Rena asked. Silence. Rena thought for a moment, trying to find potential answers to her own question.

Taeil said they were looking for a power source or a witch or wizard.

"Power source?" The siren's face was still.

"Wizard?" Nothing.

"Witch." The siren's left eye twitched ever so slightly. Bingo.

"Did you end up finding the witch that you needed?" Rena asked him. The siren leaned back.

"If we did, shapeshifters would already be roaming the world." The siren said, sending shivers down Rena's spine.

...

"I'm here to help." Rena said, approaching the two boys sitting in the library reading books. They looked up at the demon joining them.

"Um..." Haechan glanced at Renjun, knowing that they weren't supposed to tell anyone of their assignment.

"Taeil already told me, don't worry." Rena said, taking a book from a pile.

"Right." Haechan said as Renjun shrugged his shoulders. They watched as Rena started coughing from the dust coming out of the book.

"Geez, this sucks. No wonder you two have been so miserable." Rena said, fanning the dust away.

"Tell me about it." Renjun said with a sigh. They watched as Rena gave them a surprised look as she read the contents of the book.

"Why are you looking at history books?" Rena asked them.

"We found something like a reciepe on how to make griffins." Haechan told her.

"We assumed that they must have used it in the past, so we started looking at history books to see if there's anything about that." Renjun added.

"Show me the book." Rena said. Renjun hesistantly gave her the book they were referring to.

"It's in Theban alphabet, you won't be able to read it though." Renjun said as Rena opened the book, scanning the pages. Renjun passed her a sheet a paper with the translations.

"So your brother, he wanted to create shapeshifters?" Rena asked. Haechan nodded. They watched as Rena read the translated versions.

"When was the last time you met with Taeil?" Rena asked them.

"We haven't really met with him since the end of the semester is coming up." Haechan confessed. Rena read over the translation one more time before putting it down.

"I think we should go talk to him." Rena said, leaning back into her seat.

...

"Why did you call me here?" Yuta asked, taking a seat across from Taeil.
