Kasama ko ngayon maglakad palabas ng clinic ang magpinsan. Every now and then I'd look behind me, Ash is half carrying the limping Calix by his arm. Rinig ko na sabi ng nurse ay napuruhan daw ang bandang tuhod niya sa pagkakabagsak.

I looked straight ahead, damn! Ash's family really got the genes huh. I thought Ash was good looking, and I was wrong! Calix looks way better.

Ash is taller than Calix so I presume that he's older than him. Calix is also a little bit slimmer than Ash, he looks like a boy. A little boy while Ash is manly.

"Kasi naman, bakit mo pinatulan?" Sabi ni Ash. I tried hard not to look back. Masyado ako magmumukhang chismosa.

"Of course, he taunted me! What do you expect? I'll shut my mouth? Let him get away without any damage?" Halos pasigaw na sagot ni Calix. I don't doubt now that they really are related.

Ash scoffed, "By the looks of it, you are the one who got more damage."

I turned to look at them and stopped walking, "Ano ba kasi ang sinabi sayo? Ray isn't the kind of person that who will hurt someone just because of petty things. Maybe, you're at fault too." What I'm saying is a fact. Even though I don't know Ray for a long time, just by looking at him I can guarantee that he is a good person. I didn't even imagine he will get involved in a fight like this.

Sabay na napatigil ang dalawa sa paglalakad, the two pairs of gray eyes looked at me with an emotion too hard for me to read, and then they look at each other, and then back at me.

"Looks can be deceiving, just like words, Amaris." The younger boy said. Becoming serious all of a sudden. "I think you barely know him. Kakasimula pa lang ng school year. Kaya hindi ko alam paano mo nasasabi iyan."

Mas binilisan ko ang lakad at narinig na tinawag pa ni Ash ang aking pangalan. Hindi ko iyon pinansin at nagpatuloy na lang. Ang sunod kong subject ay Finance, and I suddenly wished na sana ngayon na lang nangyari ang kaguluhan para may excuse akong huwag pumasok.

The room is a little bit full when I reached it. I sat on my usual seat beside, Frella. Even though i know everyone in this class and vice versa, She is the one I got really close with.

Nilingon niya ako mula sa pagkakatingin sa kanyang cellphone at ngumiti. "Amaris, you know Maxon Villegas, right?" Just the mere mention of the guy made my heart skip a beat. Speaking of, nasaan nga kaya iyon? I haven't seen him yet.

Frella's hair is dyed brown, she's also morena that's why it suits her so much, "Yes, kilala ko siya." Sagot ko.

She nodded and showed me her phone, "This is the page of their company. Friends kasi ang parents namin, magkakaroon ng grand ball sa isang araw." She paused. I scanned the page, it had a huge photo that seems to be an invitation. "I wonder who will he bring as a date?" She smirked and wiggled her eyebrows.

I smiled and opened my mouth to reply but suddenly taken a back when I remembered what Kia told me. I felt my heart churned a little. I shook my head slowly trying to forget them.

Rumors are just rumors.

"Naku, I'm sure he will ask you!" My friend exclaimed.

I smiled, this time a bit smaller than the last, "Hindi naman ako aasa. A varsity player like him has a lot of girls at his feet."
