THE EMERGENCY TEMPTATION

chapter 10

After Anand's parents left Sharad took a day off he wanted to be alone. He wanted to sleep but he also wanted to do something else, he stepped into the room of unused things. These were the things from his house in Delhi. He let madhu's parents take her things but retained some gifts he had given her.

His kids were 7 years now and he still kept their dresses from when they were 4 years. He didn't want to part with them so he started with Madhus things he decided to sell her jewelry. He retained only a set of his kids dress and the rest he packed and drove towards Fortress where he donated it all.

When he came  back home he felt that he can breathe and he had more space at his home. He wanted to order a 42 inch television set, jbl speakers, and some cushions and couches and many more. But something struck him. He choose some and sent to Nam

"You have seen my house help me choose"

"What you redecorating your house?" immediately her reply came

"No just getting some essentials", he replied

"Give me 30 minutes"

"ok when will you be rejoining duty" he asked

"Not sure just started solids i dont want to collapse during emergency ",Nam sent the message and was surprised to get a video call from him 'thats unexpected' she thought and closed her room door adjusted her dress let loose her hair and attended the call

"what were you applying make up? why so late to pick up the call?

"i was downstairs so came up" Nam lied

"stand up let me see you" he said

"ahhhh for what ?"she asked

"let me see you its been a while" sharad asked relaxing on his bed.

Nam was actually feeling happy but still she resisted" maybe when we meet when i join for duty you can see me"

"let me see if i can carry you when you collapse"

"fine", she stood up and placed the phone in a top angle.

"mhhmmm"sharad gave a top to bottom look and said "doable ok"

"what ?!"Nam exclaimed

" i  ment  i can carry you if you collapse"

"ahhhh fine"

"Nam you look sick actually . Start having juices and lots of fruits have boiled not salads" Sharad sounded concerned

"you remember im a doctor too right. and also if i eat all those my weight will increases you will mock me" Nam kept her face angry

"you know that we are not teens  and how could you not even act like a drama queen ",Sharad laughed and Nam to joined him

"I miss you sharad ",she said

his face expression changed "i know", he said

Nam banged her head on the near by wall "i think this wall will understand me more",she said.

"Well now tell me where should i keep the television"Sharad changed the conversation and Nam to followed the cue.

They spoke for an hour they had to finish the call for Nam was called for dinner.

"Can i message you later ",Nam asked

"you can but if i didn't reply it must be because i must have dozed off"

"i understand"she smiled "bye for now"

"bye for Now ",sharad cut the call and hit the bed.

His mind automatically started to compare with Madhu, if he had told madhu  the same reason by morning there will be 200 missed calls and a hell lot of messages. He didn't want to fall for another women like madhu.
