THE EMERGENCY TEMPTATION

chapter 9

When sharad came back from chennai after meeting his kids he felt like he had new energy. His kids had loved his presents and they were happy to see him. But he received a cold welcome from The matron and many emergency staffs. He didn't mind anything and carried on with his work of training the new recruits. When he went for his rounds he went to the room Nam was and froze he then realized that she was gone.

He had kept his mind free of everything when he was with his kids he had even switched off his mobile. "Shit", he banged his hand on the wall. he felt like a wave of her memories hitting him. "Shes not dead you idiot call her", his mind said.
but his ego was stronger than what his heart wanted, so he transferred another patient to that room.

He ignored the cold stares and talks happening behind his back. He even ignored Nams calls a couple of times and only replied busy to her messages it was not a lie for he did keep himself busy with the trainees.

15 days of training was over and Sharad had to call Nam to discuss about the recruitment. Matron and dr.chandran was also present.

"hello doctors, hello Matron" Nams voice was heard and it seemed to fill the room  as the video was visible.  Nam looked pale and weak

"Are you alright whats wrong" was the question from all the three

"Yeah yeah im good its just that i can't eat any solids yet. So im losing my body fat, and becoming light weight thats all", Nam laughed

Sharad spotted the naughtiness in her laugh 'this woman just doesn't waste any chance' he thought.

After an hour of discussion the four unanimously selected 5 doctors and 10 nurses.

"So how are you?" Nam asked sharad when the others left.

"I'm good, just getting free now.  Will connect with you later you take care of your health doctor", Sharad replied very professionally

"sure doctor i will ",Nam went offline.

Nam was not angry and that made sharad wonder.

The new doctors and nurses were appointed and Sharad had some free time when he checked the time it was 1am. But still he dropped a message to Nam

"just got free"

and there was a double blue tik before he could delete it

"bye ",sharad sent for he was laughing and he didn't want to be sucked into that vortex

Nam was  feeling light and was smiling.

"No way ",Eve was angry

"Come on Eve you need to be reasonable" Anand tried to make her understand

"Listen Anand let Nam be back shes my support system then i will decide on meeting your parents"

"this is a very lame excuse Eve", Anand sounded irritated "you can easily talk to her over the phone but why would you need Nams approval"
