"Not approval you wont understand just leave it Anand"

"Talk to me Eve whats bothering you" Anand said hugging her from behind

"nothing just leave me alone", Eve pushed him away

"Fine just let me know when you are ok but my parents will be here tomorrow I can't do anything about it,"Anand left

Eve was in a confused state of mind she was not clear what was bothering her. She was used to share all her feelings and day to day happenings with Nam but now she even stopped that. She was feeling guilty of being in a happy relationship when Nam was struggling back home trying to mend her heart and body.

Eve had asked Anand's help to convince sharad and he had bluntly refused saying it would be too personal to discuss with his friend.

Eve was still awake when Nam messaged her "babes give me a call when you are up , "
"😍😍😍 Sharad responded" the second message said Eve rang up immediately

"Tell me everything dont leave a single detail ",Eve asked expecting her friend has got a green signal

Nam narrated their conversation

"Thats it?" Eve asked with disappointment "and you are happy for this ",she asked

"Yes babes these are his baby steps, he was genuinely busy now hes free so he messaged me"

"So you are excited for some emoticons. what will happen if he actually propose" Eve laughed

"ohh dear maybe i will have an cardiac arrest."

"Dont get your hopes high Nam" Eve was concerned

"No im not setting the bar high. tell me hows it going with you and Anand. ohh dear is it the proper time i must think twice before i message you again", Nam laughed

"hes not here Nam his parents are coming tomorrow so hes back to Sharads house"

"Thats great go meet them you will get an idea how to move on with your relationship with Anand , this is obviously inter religious so you will get a clue and... dont hold back your charming smile ",Nam winked.

"What do you want me to say? how do i introduce myself? "Eve asked

"darling just make breakfast for them and knock on that door. im feeling sleepy Eve after many days bye dear dont  over think Goodnight ",Nam said

"Good night", Eve felt that her mind was clear now. 'how the hell does Nam do this read my mind and give a solution'.

"Im making breakfast tomorrow for you and your parents", Eve messaged Anand

"you are the best girlfriend ",came the reply "so now that we are good can i come over 😉😉" Anand asked

"not today good night", Eve replied.

The next morning Eve made her best veg gravy for Chappathi and idly and chutney, and carried over to Block B house number 235.

"Mom this is Eve she works with me at the hospital shes an emergency nurse, Eve this is my Mom janaki"

"Oh thats so nice of dear to make us breakfast ",Mrs. Janaki helping Eve in laying out the food at the same time eyeing her curiosly

"Eve this is my Dad Christopher dad Evangeline", he introduced

Eves jaw dropped and she tried to hide her shock.

"he didn't tell you i see"Mr.Christopher asked Eve could only Nod.

"come on lets eat im hungry. "Eve was throwing daggers at Anand and he kept avoiding her gaze.

"Did you cook all this by yourself my Child", Anand's dad asked
