The screeching tires and the keening wail of the siren, madly barreling through the streets in the hopes of saving one more life as the screeching echoes throughout the neighborhood meant the ambulance was close.
Every heart in the room skipped a beat as the ambulance weaved it's way through the cars, blue lights ablaze.
Jennie couldn't hear the ambulance coming. She could only make out its blurred shape through her blood shot, puffy, crying eyes. She stared as she watched the life drain out of her love. She went pale and limp.
As a pair of strong hands pulled her back into the blinding light of the ambulance she still didn't move. "Jennie" Jisoo extended her arms and hugged her to comfort her.
Paramedics did their job. They put Lisa carefully on to the stretcher and inside the ambulance afterwards. "We are running out of time. Let's go!"
"How is she?" Chaeng asked them before they leave. "Just pray for her right now" A female paramedic answered her.

Her words were implying how critical Lisa's condition was. Cheang couldn't hold it back. "Lisaaa-yah" yelled while they were closing the doors.
Jennie was in Jisoo's arms. "I have to go with her" Jennie said. "We will" Jisoo replied her. "Unnie whyyyy??" she let out a heartbreaking cry.
Jennie looked at the ground,where Lisa's body was. Her eyes took mental picture of it. A pool of blood and a bloody white rose was all left there.
"She was trying to protect me unnie" Jennie stated and almost lost her senses but fortunately Rosé pulled her up and hold her in her arms. "Calm down unnie" Rosé was trying to comfort Jennie. Jennie seemed lost. Paralyzed. Defeated. "It should be me, Chaeng. Not her." She kept saying. "Shhh, don't talk like that." Rosé was rubbing smooth circles on Jennie's back. "Jen" Seulgi was standing next to the girls. Jennie saw her and immediately left Rosé's arm and hugged her. "Seulgi Unnie" They had been witnesses on something very cruel and violent. It was like they created a special bond after what happened. "I am happy you are OK" Jennie told her. "She is a fighter, you know that, right?" Seulgi said as Irene came along to check on them.
"I have to go" "I have to be with her right now" Jennie was hit by the reality again. "Jen,you should change first. Your clothes are covered with blood." Jisoo gently grabbed her arm and guided her to the dressing room to change before they drive to the hospital.
She went back inside the room. She saw the glasses on the floor. "Watch out" Jisoo kindly told her . Jennie discarded her clothes as fast as it was possible. She washed her hands and went towards the girls who were waiting for her. Chaeng was still crying and Jisoo was commiserating her. "I am ready Chu let's...g-go" Jennie suddenly saw a bucket of whites roses like the one Lisa was holding earlier. They were placed on the corner of the mirror.
