Chapter 7: It's Not Over Yet

"Oh wow. Kai and I took some space too" Devon said frowning.

"Why did you guys take space?" I asked.

"Kai said Julian's name while we made out, and he couldn't tell me if he still had feelings for Julian" Devon said frowning.

"Aww" I said frowning.

"But I think I'm gonna try and talk to him, and work things out. I kinda miss him" Devon said.

"That's good. At least you still can" I said frowning.

"Hey..." Devon said.

He put his hand on top of mine.

"It'll be alright" Devon said smiling softly.

I smiled.

"Thanks for talking to me, Devon. I feel a lot better now" I said smiling.

"Glad I could help" Devon said smiling.

We continued eating and talking for a little more.

Brendan's POV

As me and the girls were watching TV, Kai came out of his room, to grab a snack.

"Hey, Kai! We're watching Ant Farm on Disney Plus! Come join us!" Lauren said smiling.

"Okay!" Kai said smiling.

He grabbed his snack, and before he sat down, there was a knock on the door. Kai went to answer it. I heard a familiar voice.

"Hey again. I'm looking for Brendan" Jazmine said smiling.

I got up and headed to the door.

"Hey" I said smiling.

She gave me a kiss, and came in.

"I wanted to talk to you" Jazmine said.

"Of course. Let's head upstairs" I said.

I guided Jazmine upstairs and we sat on one of the couches.

"So, I wanted to talk to you, about the baby" Jazmine said.

"Oh! You decided?" I asked.

"Yeah... I've decided that... I'm gonna keep it" Jazmine said smiling.

"For real?" I asked smiling.

"Yes!" Jazmine said smiling.

"That's great!" I said smiling as I gave her a hug.

"I'm so glad I have you. You're so supportive" Jazmine said smiling.

"You my girl. I'm always here for you. Looks like I'll have to drop out too" I said.

"Actually... you don't have to" Jazmine said smiling.

"What you mean?" I asked.

"I talked to my parents, and they agreed to watch the baby while we stayed in school" Jazmine said.

"You serious?" I asked.

"Yes!" Jazmine said smiling.

"Ayeeeee!" I said smiling.

I hugged Jazmine again, and her phone went off in her purse.

"Ugh, I've got another meeting to get to. See you soon?" Jazmine asked smiling.

"Aight. Love you" I said smiling.

"Love you too" Jazmine said smiling.

She gave me a kiss and I followed her downstairs and she headed out after saying goodbye to the everyone else. Then I noticed everyone was staring at me.
