chapter ten — her and jeno's memories.

dahye arrived in front of her old school, she smiled to herself, remembering all the things that happened there. from her first day, boram making her days miserable— wonder what happened to her, getting to know jeno. then there it was, the bench that held a hundred memories— her and jeno's memories. she turned around and her attention was on the park across the school, where jeno confessed to her, her happiest day.

"hey"
a deep voice spoke behind her.
"oh jeno, hi"
dahye turned around and was standing there in front of her with a simple white shirt and black jeans, along with black sneakers. simple, but he didn't fail to look gorgeous.
"let's go"
he grabbed dahye's hand.
"where?"
"around the school, don't you miss this place?"
jeno looked down at dahye, hands still interlocked.
"are we even allowed to be here?"
she asked worried.
"we should be, school ended already"

"remember this?"
jeno pointed at the bench dahye was already staring at the moment she stood in front of the school.
"of course, how could i forget?"
she replied, looking at it.
"it had tons of memories, didn't it?"
"definitely"
dahye smiled.

"hey this is our classroom"
dahye exclaimed looking into the classroom from the window.
"woah, not much changed"
jeno stood next to her, staring into the classroom too.
"i used to sit there and you used to sit there"
dahye pointed at two seats.
"and i used to throw people on that chalkboard"
jeno laughed while pointing to the front of the classroom.

"and this room?"

the two stood in front of the music room.

"of course"

"that's where we had our first kiss"

jeno said and dahye felt her cheeks heat up.

"and no one knew we kissed there"
dahye laughed.

"where to next?"
she asked.
"the park"
jeno replied and crossed the street, dahye following close behind.
they arrived at the one particular bench and sat, the same way they did, four years ago.
"i missed this place"
dahye sighed.
"only this place? not this person?"
jeno pointed at himself, looking hurt.
"of course i missed you too"
