"I'm gonna go wash the lunch boxes," you said as you gathered up all the empty lunch boxes from the ground.
It was yet another day of practicing. Their lunch break had just ended and they had to go back to practicing. The only thought that kept them going on was the one week break the company was giving them tomorrow.
Dance music was blaring from the speakers until your phone started buzzing and ringing.
The members turned off the music.
Kai picked up your phone, "hm who's Josh?"
"Should we pick up and said hi this is Pizza Hut how many pizzas would you like?" Taehyun suggested.
"As much as I would like to do that, we can't. It's y/n's phone. We need to respect her privacy. For all we know it could be someone important," Soobin scolded.
Josh does sounds oddly familiar though. Yeonjun thought, his mind doing flashbacks to several days before, to the both of you cuddling in bed together.
"I have an ex. His name was Josh. He cheated on me with my friend when we went to camp."
"Why would anyone cheat on you? You're amazing!" Yeonjun had said.
"It doesn't matter. I have you now."

"Someone important my ass. That guy is her ex. He cheated on her," Yeonjun scoffed.
He snatched the phone away from Kai and picked up the call.
"Hey y/n! Oh my god you have no idea how happy I am, I never thought you would've picked up. Hey listen, I just want to apologise for the past events I've done. I've broke it off with Angela and I'm sorry," Josh paused, "Y/n? Are you there?"
Yeonjun faked a cough.

"Oh you are! Listen, I'd totally understand if you wouldn't want to talk or reply me but at least you're here. There isn't a day I've not regretted what I've done. I really miss you Y/n, and I want you back."
Yeonjun sniffed.
"You don't have to give me an answer now. But oh my god, remember our first phone call? I asked you out on the phone. I remember panicking like an idiot but you were so nice to me. And I'd always get you flowers, you always loved them. Those were good times, y/n, I want that again," Josh reminisced, the tinge of hope he had in his voice could be heard through the phone.

"I still love you y/n. I know you'll still feel something for me. After all we've been together for a year, right?"

"Hey," Yeonjun started.
"Wait," Josh paused, then continued, "you're not her."
"You got that right Mr Crankosaurous. I'm her lover. And we're engaged."
A sharp inhale could be heard from the other side of the phone.
"And listen here you tithead, my baby is allergic to pollen and cheaters.
So, please, do me a favour and throw yourself away."
Yeonjun hung up.

"Well. There's no harm in a little joke right?" Beomgyu said carefully, "kekekeh."
"It was smart of you to say that you both engaged actually," Soobin said, "now he'll never bother y/n again."
"Who said it was a joke?"
