ღChapter 27: Secrets begin to unfoldღ

"It's time you tell us KC." Aphmau closed and locked the door.

"What's going on between you and Zane?"

Kawaii~Chan POV

It's strange. Really. This whole situation I've wrapped myself in. 

How did I end up here? How did I find myself in front of my best friends, questioning me on what's going on between me and Zane.

I didn't think much of him at first; he was a loner, and a bit of a nerd. He didn't participate much in class, his intelligence was only shown through what grades he had. Such a quiet, mysterious soul, that I never got to know. 

That was only freshman year.

He transitioned into a delinquent as the years of high school went by. I heard rumors that he vandalized the cafeteria. 

I, of course, didn't believe them at first. 

How could the quiet, smart, emo boy I knew from freshman year be this mischievous, rule-breaker?

My mistake was thinking such a thing. Sometimes, you don't know people well enough and it isn't until they reveal their true colors when you realize that.

To this day and hour, I've still got a bone to pick with him.

Sure, we had our moments here and there, sure he apologized. 

But, what he said to me before we departed for Colorado..

"Kawaii~Chan...you wouldn't understand."

What don't I understand? 

"Kawaii~Chan?" Aphmau suddenly stated, a bit concerned.

"Huh?" I focused my attention back on her.

"Oh! You scared me there for a second. You looked like you were in thought."

"Sorry Aphmau~Senpai...you were saying?"

Before Aphmau could even spur a word, Katelyn interrupted with great emphasis, "She's saying, what's going on between you and that edge-lord"

I sweat-dropped, a bit nervous, "And Katelyn~Sama means..."

"ZANE! Who else?" she said exaggeratedly while rolling her eyes.

I fiddled with my fingers, "O-Oh..Kawaii~Chan sees.."

They leaned in closer.

Close enough to not let me breathe a single gasp of air.

I couldn't stand it. Why are they trying to expose myself? 

Agh, maybe I don't feel comfortable talking about this!

"UGH! Can you guys just leave me some breathing room? Jeez!" I snapped.

Without the 3rd person talking.

There goes my anxiety, kicking in again..

"What's your prob? We were just curious is all." Katelyn stated, backing away immediately.

She carelessly tossed my journal on the bed.
