I drink the dark purple liquid, as he requested, and he takes cover.

"That's disturbing." I say.

"I'm just trying to stay safe." He says.

I make sure every last drop is out of the beaker, before I set it back down.
Nothing happens.
Then, my stomach does a flip- flop and I cry out in pain, clutching my stomach.

"Aargh!" I stumble onto Solomon's bedroom floor, doubling over in pain.

The last thing I see is the ceiling, before everything fades away.

"Do you have anything going on this week?" Solomon asks.

"No." I say.

Nothing planned. No parties, nothing.
If only I knew he was talking about everything.

I sit up, a throbbing headache forcing me back down.

I scream, jumping across the room.

"What happened?" I yell at Solomon, attempting to run away from the tail.
I freak out, running around in circles.

"Solomon!" I yell, but Solomon catches me by the waist, holding me.

"Calm down!" He says, rocking me.

He strokes my cheek, and I begin to purr.
That didn't last for long, though.
I turn around and scratch Solomon across the face.

"Hey!" He yells, as I jump away from him. "What was that for?"

"This is all your fault!" I yell. "I turned into an animal! What am I, anyways?"

"A panther." Solomon says, standing up.

He walks over to me, and I shy away.

Until he rubs my head.

"You told me you'd let me do an experiment on you." He says, as I purr at his touch.

"I didn't expect it to be like this, though." I say. I stand up, looking up at Solomon.

Luke bursts through the door.

"I heard screaming!" He yells frantically, going berserk.

"Calm down, Luke." I say, straightening him.

Once he gets a good look at me, he screams like a girl.

"Are those fangs in your mouth? He asks.

I don't know how he spotted those.

"And... your nails are so sharp!" Luke backs away from me. "Is that.... a tail?"
