My Runaway Vampires

Chapter 39

     "I'm more worried about how to get the elders to just let us go, what more can we do besides promise we won't reveal ourselves to a human?" Yeonjun fiddles with his hands trying to think of any possible way to beat an elder.
      Soobins face suddenly lit up, then went dark again. Yeonjun caught on. "What? You had an idea why didn't you say it???"
"Because it's pretty uh....cruel..." Soobin looked towards Hueningkai.
     Yeonjun gave soobin a look of 'dont even get me started on cruel right now'.
    "Elders can't touch or drink virgin vampire blood....and we just so happen to have a new vampire that hasn't drank blood before....right here." Soobin frowned and gestured to the suffering Hueningkai on the bed.
     Yeonjun hadn't thought of this. Maybe turning Hueningkai was there only chance to stay with him anyway! But not drinking blood....hurts especially after just getting turned...you get hunger pains...you grow weak....yeonjun just didn't want to imagine Hueningkai becoming like beomgyu had been. Especially now that they couldn't just steal supplements.

       "I feel like I can't breathe again." Taehyun wheezed and held his chest like he was dying of pain. Beomgyu immediately woke up. "WHY WHY??! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!!" Beomgyu quickly looked for a cause like temperature or blood.
    "It's because your fat ass is laying on your poor beloveds nearly-died chest." Taehyun groaned and smiled, happy to be alive.
     Beomgyu scoffed."I'm glad you still have your sense of humor intact my butt is not fat :(" beomgyu lightly slapped Taehyuns chest.
     "OW OW!!" Taehyun exclaimed making beomgyu jump. "OH IM SORRY TYUN! A-" beomgyu stopped when he saw Taehyun laughing. "I got you twice in one go!!" Taehyun was laughing hard now.
      "If you have so much air to laugh let me just kill you myself.." beomgyu gritted his teeth in a playful smile and grabbed a pillow, beating Taehyun with it.
     "Didn't he just almost die?"
Soobin said now at the bottom of the stairs staring.
    Beomgyu stumbled off of Taehyun and straightened himself. "I was making sure he was alive!"
     "By.....beating him with a pillow? Just suffocate him with a blanket while youre at it." Soobin laughed. Glad the mood was lightening around here.
       Beomgyu released Taehyun and tried to get off him, pouting at him for tricking him twice, but Taehyun held beomgyus waist in place so he wouldn't go. "No stay I'm sorry." Taehyun said, acting like he was suddenly very wounded still.
     "Go easy on him he shouldn't be awake yet so something might be wrong I'll call over chaeryoung to do a check up..." Soobin went to the coat rack to grab a coat.
      "You'll be safe on your way? I could go with you soobin." Beomgyu worried for the elder. Since last time, soobin got taken.
      "Yeah, I'll be-"
A loud shriek broke their conversation.
    "Hueningkai is-...??" Beomgyu started, already recognizing the sound of someone being turned into a vampire. It was an irreversible and painful process.
     "I know. I'll be back soon.." soobin rubbed his eyes as if he had cried for the whole two hours beomgyu had been asleep. Beomgyu couldn't imagine-no ...he didn't want to imagine their young human friend in that much pain.
      Soobin was quick to leave, he couldn't take hearing Hueningkai scream like that, leaving him with yeonjun now was harmless since he already bit him.
      Soobin only thought of how much Hueningkai would hate him after all of this. They would definitely break up. Hueningkai might choose to starve himself like beomgyu. He would never want to see soobin.
     Soobin knew this, but still couldn't help but stay by his side until he knew he was alright.
    
       "Yeonjun and Soobin look rough..." Beomgyu looked down to Taehyun who was still hugging his waist to him, looking like a sleepy squirrel hugging his teddy bear.
      "Mm...they fought pretty bad..." Taehyun remembered the scene before he lost conciousness. The last time he saw a human look in hueningkais eyes...he felt bad he got poisoned and caused everyone to fight....he should've smelt the poison.
      "Hey...it wasn't your fault you got poisoned ....you know you scared me more I couldn't even do anything for you, I CHOI BEOMGYU turned feral....ME Taehyun." Beomgyu hugged Taehyun, putting his head to his chest.
       "I saw....you were pretty scary...." Taehyun gave a weak laugh. He was tired beomgyu could hear him dozing off.
     "You can rest Taehyun I'll stay right here ok?" Beomgyu smiled at taehyuns already half asleep again face drooping over. He moved his bangs from his face and swooped them up.
      "Okayyy?...."
"Mmhn....."
       "Yeonjun...." Hueningkais voice woke yeonjun up from the chair beside him.
"Yes?yes! What do you need are you alright?" Yeonjun was now alert again.
      Yeonjun noticed the red tint to hueningkais eyes, his paler skin and ethereal glow. A vampire indeed. He felt the guilt hit him like bricks.
     "Don't feel bad hyung....I'm alright. I'm not angry, I understand why you did-" Hueningkai grimaced and held his stomach stopping his words. He let out sharp breaths and teared up. It just hurt so badly....
      "Those are hunger pains....you'll have them as long as you don't drink blood....I'm sorry you had to go through this Kai...I really-" yeonjun held his face to stop himself from crying in front of Kai. He didn't want to lose his cool older brother facade.
     He couldn't hold them in when he felt two warm arms engulf him so gently though. He lost it. Why would you hug me after what I did. You really don't hate me?
     "Yeonjun...don't cry....I'm alright being a vampire is awesome now I'll be able to fly and be like you guys and Soobin!" Hueningkai smiled and yeonjun looked up at him with teary eyes in a serious manner.
     "Actually....you won't..."
   
  "I brought chaeryoung." Soobin said, taking off his coat and letting chaeryoung in. Beomgyu tensed at her scent and woke up growling.
    Taehyun woke up to beomgyus body suddenly tensing and he gently ran his hand down beomgyus back as comfort.
     "I hate this, why does it have to be her." Beomgyu growled at her, he couldn't help but feel hostile.
     Taehyun hated seeing beomgyu so threatened by someone. At the same time though......beomgyu was being kind of hot with the red eyes...teeth barred....collar exposed...

     "TAEHYUN?!" chaeryoung tried again knowing the boy had just woken up and might've been sidetracked.
     "Don't. Yell at him." Beomgyu hissed at her. Chaeryoung understood him but still felt a bit hurt.
     "Yes sorry..." Taehyun gently sat up, moving beomgyu gently and letting chaeryoung examine him.
    Chaeryoung stared at Taehyun for what seemed like an eternity.
Beomgyu would never understand witches. What was worse was as soon as soobin got in the door he ditched him and Taehyun to go check on Kai....great he had to watch chaeryoung.
       "I have good news and bad news."
