"They'll be here in 10," I announced entering the kitchen which has a view or the backyard where the girls are mingling.

"Awesome," Angela threw back a tequila shot "fuck that's good."

I chuckled grabbing the bottle of Don Julio "It better be, this is like five-hundred dollars."

"Really?" Angela looked at her shot glass. "Where's the vodka Ilya sent us?"

My right eyebrow arched; she seemed desperate for another drink "Everything all right, sweetheart?"

She jumped off the high-chair and made her way to the fridge "Yeah just anxious for the party to start."

"Woah," I yanked the bottle of Zyr Vodka out of her hands. "Slow down. Why have you been so fidgety today? Did something happen with Emi?"

A deep sigh left her mouth "We found a house..."

"And why is that a bad thing?" A soft smile played on my lips.

"Well, it's all becoming reality. I am finally moving in with someone." Angela has been with countless guys; they always end up losing interest in her after a couple of weeks; I should know after punching several of them for breaking her heart.

"But does it feel like you're rushing things?"

Angela shook her head "I'm just scared he won't like what I have to offer now that we'll be alone."

"And does he know?"

"Yes," she leaned on the long costume-made concrete island that fits fifteen high-chairs on one side. "He is as cool as a cucumber," Angela ran her fingers through her hair. "Besides, tonight he wants us to talk about having kids."

"All right," I placed down the bottle on the island and took a deep breath. "It's normal to feel like this, it is a bi—"

"Mariano!" Aurore rushed in with a smile on her face which immediately dropped when she saw who I was with. "I'm sorry for interrupting, Mr. Salvatore—"

"It's okay," Angela told gazing at her over her shoulder. "You go ahead and talk to him while I go check on the food," she grabbed the vodka before leaving.

"Sorry," Aurore clasped her hands in front of herself.

"It's fine, Aurore," my hands slipped in the pockets of my pants. "What do you need?"

"I just finished the show you recommended," a smile played on her lips.

"White Lines?"

Aurore confirmed with her head "Yes, I loved it. Now I can't stop thinking about Ibiza."

"It's a beautiful place. Have you ever been?"

She nodded "I was 10, my sister took me to her bachelorette party."

According to her file, her parents were murdered when she was 5 and her sister 20. They only had each other and her sister's boyfriend who is older apart from loaded.

"You didn't enjoy much of the night life then," I softly chuckled.

Aurore shook her head sitting on the counter "It would be nice to go again and enjoy the night life," her cheeks turned crimson.

"I'll talk to Arabella about it, maybe she'll send you there for Christmas."

She cleared her throat "I was thinking of something more private, like with a good friend..."

"You've made many friends these past two months—"

"Men are dense, darling," I turned around hearing Arabella's voice. "Hi, Mariano," she approached me and pecked my right cheek.

"Hi, Arabella," I heard Aurore's heels hitting the floor. "You look fabulous."

Arabella walked past me and wrapped her right arm around Aurore's waist "Let's go outside with the girls." They left together.

Napoleon ran into the kitchen wearing his shark costume and behind him was Apollo and Ilya. "How did Arabella feel about the surprise?" I asked as Ilya hugged me.

"Didn't have a clue," Apollo chuckled, grabbing my face and pecking my lips. "Where's Angela?"

"Checking on the food," I told.

"And Arabella? Is she peeing? She always has to pee—"

"Outside, after calling all men, dense."

Apollo scoffed "She always does that."

"Her statement might not be far from the truth," a deep sigh left my mouth.
