The next day I told Tanjirou and Inosuke that I made up my mind. Inosuke jabbed my arm,

"See? That's what I'm talking about dude!! Shoot your shot!" I smiled, but then my face went pale. I realized that I was actually going to follow through with this, I started to sweat,

"Umm......guys?" They both turned to look at me,

"WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!?" I freaked out, "I-I've never d-done this before!! Oh my God I-I'm gonna mess this whole thing up! Just th-thinking about it makes me shaky! Wh-What if-"

Tanjirou interrupted me, "Woah there! Calm down Zenitsu!!" He gave me a sincere smile, "There's no need to panic. You're overthinking it all!"

I took a deep breath, "O-Okay.....so what do I do then?"

"You just do it." Inosuke scoffed,

"THAT'S NOT HELPFUL!!!"

"Okay, Okay. Everyone just be quiet!" Tanjirou ordered, we instantly shut up. "First, Zenitsu you need to come up with a plan." He explained,

"Do what you think will work out the best."

I sighed, "Y-Yeah I know, but do you have any tips for me? I still have no idea what I'm doing!"

"Give her food, that always makes me happy." Inosuke suggested. Tanjirou helped out too,

"Remember not to feel pressured to get her something though. The gifts won't be the thing that convinces her, you will."

"You could also write her a letter!" Inosuke said, "Like a poem."

Tanjirou and Inosuke kept listing off ideas that I could use on Friday, the suggestions really helped out. I was starting to get a grasp of what I should do. After they were done I cleared my throat,

"Okay. Now that I have an idea of what to do," I inhaled and looked straight at both of them, "What in the world do I say?!" Tanjirou could tell that I was about to start panicking again so he began to comfort me,

"Uhhh, you can say, 'Will you go out with me?' Something like that would work." I nodded my head,

"No! That's way too boring!!" Inosuke yelled, "You need more spice! Say, 'You're going on a date with me whether you like it or not, dumbass!!' Now that's the way to do it!"

Tanjirou and I turned to look at Inosuke, we both stared at him with an expression that basically said, 'What the hell dude?!'

"Don't look at me like that! That's how I was taught." Tanjirou shook his head,

"No, no, no. That is WAY too aggressive! You'll scare her if you do that." Tanjirou thought for a second, then he turned back to me,

"Look, we can't do everything for you. All I'm gonna say is, say what feels right in the moment. And remember," Tanjirou put his hand on my shoulder, "Just be yourself." Those words lifted my spirits, I smiled,

"Okay, Thanks."

The last bell of the day rang and I was on my way home when I saw a shop for Valentine's Day. I glanced inside from the window,

"Looking around for a bit wouldn't hurt...." I sighed to myself as I walked in. The whole store was covered in pink and red hearts and other decorations. I looked on the shelves, they were filled with chocolates, teddy bears and other animals that were holding hearts, and cards to give to your valentine. I picked up one of the teddy bears and stared at it, on the heart was written 'Be mine!'

"You know what? Nezuko-chan doesn't need some cheap bear. I can do so much better than this!" I scoffed as I put back on the shelf,

"I'm gonna make her something. Something from the heart."

And with that I continued on my way home. What should I make though....?

Cookies!

I sprinted into my house and started to get all the stuff I needed. I was gonna make her the same cookies that she taught me to make during Christmas break. I spent the rest of the day baking, each cookie I made was filled with my love for her. When I finished I put the treats in the fridge so they would still be okay on Friday.

I went to bed feeling accomplished. Though my anxiety was pretty bad, because by the time I would wake up it would be the halfway point. Wednesday.
