Field Trip Gone Wrong Part. 1

"Now, Mr. Y/N I assume you know what we will be talking about?" Ozpin asks. "Yeah," Y/N replies. "So, what can you tell us about the woman?" Glynda asks. "I got a whiff of her before she put that awful perfume on, wasn't for long though," said Y/N.

"What was her smell like?" Ironwood asks. "Coal, she smelled like burning coal," said Y/N. "Wow, looks like Ruby wasn't lying," said Ironwood.

"Are there anything else?" Ozpin asks. "Yeah, she had black hair and glowing orange eyes," said Y/N. "What was her fighting like?" Glynda asks. "She used dust, probably.. I think she creates things from fire, at least when she created a bow it left a fire," said Y/N.

"Alright, that would be all," said Glynda, Y/N nodded and headed for the Elevator.

The door to Team RWBY's dorm room opens, revealing Yang, Blake and Weiss inside. The three zoom over to the person in the door, who is revealed to be Ruby.

"What happened?" Yang asks. "Well, umm.. uh.." Ruby mumbles.

"Well there we have it. We send as many troops as we can to the southeast, watch out for any suspecting individuals, find out exactly what's going on, and eradicate any forces that stand in our way," said Ironwood as he leans on Ozpin's window.

"Why must your answer to everything involve a triumphant display of military bravado!? You treat every situation like it's a contest of measuring di-!" Glynda was stopped by Ozpin. "Glynda,"

"Well, he does," said Glynda. "She's right. As much as I too would love to end this situation once and for all, we must remember that this may go beyond Vale. Beyond Beacon," said Ozpin.

"And if this truly is part of some master plan for which we know not the final move, we mustn't be so bold. Nor can we risk the spread of panic. Especially when HE is here," said Ozpin.

"I have served you faithfully for years... but if you mean to tell me that your plan is to really hold the defenses, and wait-!" Ironwood was interrupted.

"It is NOT! You're a general, James. So tell me, when you prepare to go to war, which do you send in first? The flag bearers, or the scouts?" Said Ozpin as he abruptly stands up from his chair.

"That was a risky move," Weiss stated. "No, I think you handled it well," Blake compliments. "I hope so," said Ruby. "I'm sure everything will be alright, Ruby," Yang assures.

"Oh, I know what will cheer you up!" Yang says as she walks over to the table. "What's that?" Ruby asks. "I don't know yet, Dad sent it to us. I thought we could open it together!" Said Yang as she held up the cylindrical item.

"Ooooh! Something from home!" Ruby says.

Ruby zooms over to Yang and wraps herself around Yang, trying to take the cylinder from her. The package opens, and another cylinder, hairy and black, falls out onto the floor and starts to shake.

The object suddenly transforms into a dog. Team RWBY leans in, staring at it. The animal barks twice.

While Weiss and Blake continue to react with great shock, Ruby and Yang react excitedly, with Ruby jumping in the air. She then poses as she shouts the dog's name.

"Zwei!" Said Ruby. "He sent a dog!?" Blake asks. "In the mail?!" Weiss added.

"Oh, he does stuff like this all the time," said Yang as she looks at Ruby playing with Zwei. Blake disappears, shown now to be taking cover on Ruby's bunk.

"Your father or your dog?" Blake asks.

"Are you telling me that this mangy... drooling..." Weiss started.
