Exceptionally Different

Chapter 12

John tells everyone to get in and I look around.

"Hey-"

Then I see it from afar, some Sentinel snipers aiming towards Lorna and Marcos are standing.

"GET DOWN"

Everyone looks at me shocked as a bullets fly. Barely pass us because they turned their heads. Then those who are outside the car listen and get down. 

Finally. 

Lorna gets into the car quickly leaving just me and John outside on the ground. 

Quickly standing up I squint my eyes hard and find the eyes of the snipers. Finding their eyes and focusing my concentration I am able to cause them confusion temporarily halting the flying bullets. I wanted to do more but was limited due to them being too far away to knock them out. Then I motion for John to get up and I jump in the car. We speed away not even a minute later and I feel some stares but ignore it.

We pull up to some area and make a quick stop to change clothes and cars. Lorna quickly puts on a shirt and throws on her leather jackets.

"Um hey 'A' thanks for the help-"

John interrupts him by saying "Let's go guys, we are on a time crunch"

I get into one of the two new cars to not have to hear Marcos. I just hope that he's not riding in this car or the parents. At this point, I just want to be.....

Alone.

Marcos and Lorna enter the car and sit in the front.

Great.

I just zone them out and look out the window. I mean they know I can talk now. I don't know if I will be able to go to another country. Maybe Canada. 

Apparently Marcos has to lure off and deal with whatever drone we have on us. He and Lorna had just taken it down but they have to be quick at getting back. I doubt that's all Sentinel has.

A lot has happened and Lorna definitely wants revenge in her heart. 

Marcos was driving and like I said there was more Sentinel Service obstacles. We out drove most and the final one Lorna took care of them with her powers but she took one of them hostage. 

Not just a regular either. Agent Jace Turner. His name is imprinted in my mind and I don't know why.

We are in this building currently and she has got a pole around his neck. In a way payback for the collar, she had on from then when she was taken. She tried getting him to talk about Pulse. The dude that disrupts things and apparently he was good in the Underground before he was considered dead. Also he was John's best friend.

Pulse? That's some name that I also recognize but I have no idea how.

He isn't talking and Marcos hasn't really gotten his baby mama to reconsider this little spontaneous plan of hers. He can't even calm her down but in her defense this guy isn't budging and he has caused a lot of trouble. 

Marcos called Sonya to help them out with her powers.Clarice portaled her in here due to the fact that we now have a little crowd outside of our most favorite people.

Note the sarcasm.

Currently Sonya is using her purple fog to see his memories. Which doesn't make you feel a thing in her words. 

Lorna bought us more time by pummeling metal bars at our crowd outside that was trying to close in.

I go by the window and look outside. I feel my eyes light up and I let the thoughts of the all the agents within radius flow into my head.
