We all know someone like this.
When they're hurt we have to be quick to rush to their aid,
Stand by their side until they're ready,
Breathe through every goddamn tantrum,
And love them no matter what they say or do to you.
But when the tables are turned,
and you're the one screaming for help,
with your body in a fetus position,
and your tears pouring like an April shower,
that someone you helped will just look at you.
And get mad at you for being so weak.
For ruining their happiness.
They won't comfort you.
No.
They'll do the opposite.
They'll leave you.
Tell you to suck it up and shut up.
We all know someone like this,
They're the reason why we hide our feelings,
and quickly wipe away the tears when they pour no matter how hard you tried to stop them.
They are the reason you feel empty.
Hypocrite.
