Chapter 3 : Bully

"All of us have their own unique abilities, which could be used in different ways and could also succor to humanity. Despite knowing this, it can be difficult to realize what those abilities are and how to use them well." Miss Mylene discussed.

I'm already here on our second class and I'm all ears to what Miss Mylene is saying in front.

A while ago, Theo put a paper in my forehead before leaving. It was a sketch of the way hither. He's also the reason why I savvied my ability. I owe him a lot now.

Though, the thought of what happened before I used my ability hunted me. I'm wondering who's that guy who tried to kill me. I wanna know why did he do that and what's his motive but I know too that I'd never get an answer unless I see him again. I sighed in exasperation.

"..there are ways to put your abilities to use and improve them along the way." Pagpapatuloy ni Miss Mylene habang naglalakad-lakad sa gitna.

"Miss," nagtaas ng kamay ang isa sa mga kaklase ko, may gustong itanong. Tumigil si Miss Mylene sa pagsasalita, tumingin sa kaniya bago tumango, sensyales na magpatuloy. "Uhm.. what's next once we knew how to control our abilities?"

"You'll be aggrandized and will be in Slavin class, obviously."

Nagkibit balikat lang si Miss Mylene pagkatapos at inilibot ang tingin sa buong klase, chini-check kung may karagdagan pang tanong.

B-but how long will it take to be in Slavin class?

"And when is that, Miss? Is there a specific day to be in Slavin class?"

Ayon! Buti may nagvoice out ng tanong ko. I'm just curious about their school system here. Kasi kung sa normal world, 10 months mong need mag-aral, paano naman dito?

"There's no specific day. Once you've discovered your ability and learned how to control it, you'll be moved to Slavin class, automatically."

My lips parted and my eyes widened in amusement. That fast? Agad akong naexcite. Kapag nalaman ko kung paano controlin iyong ability ko, magiging Slavin agad ako at may possibility pang maging kaklase ko si Eli!

"You're lucky enough if you already know what your ability is. Your only problem is how to use it properly. For those who haven't yet, please help yourselves. You can't be stuck in the Wimp class for 2 years. Mahiya ka naman."

Napakunot ang noo ko nang mapansing may tinititigan si Miss Mylene sa likod habang sinasambit iyong huling linya. Tila may tinutukoy siya.

Out of curiosity, I took a glimpse at where she's staring. Napayuko iyong babaeng mistesa na may kulot na buhok matapos marinig iyong sinabi ni Miss Mylene. Oh, so those words are for her, huh.

"Okay. For those who are aware of what their ability is, come to my office and inform me so I can discrete you to others who still haven't perceived theirs. That's all. You can now go." Umalis na si Miss Mylene pagkatapos.

Nagsialisan na rin iyong iba naming kaklase at lima nalang ang natitira sa room, including me. Paalis na rin sana ako nang marinig ko ang sinabi ng isa sa mga babaeng natira doon.

"I'm sure ikaw iyong pinapatamaan ni Miss Mylene kanina. Rinig ko one and a half year ka ng nasa Wimp, ah? Disgusting," she mockingly muttered to the girl I glanced at earlier. She then laughed hysterically.
