(Kai's POV)

This Sensei Wu guy wants us to become Ninja?! No way! I like my life the way it is, I don't want to risk my life just to protect this city from Lord Garmadon! He hasn't even attacked in like a month! If you ask me this is a scam! He'll lure us to his creepy warehouse and then only the First Spinjtzu Master knows what he'll do next! I swear if that guy ever touches Nya I'm gonna kill him!

"Ninjago to Kai" Nya said snapping me out of my thoughts with her waving her hand in front of my face

"Oh sorry Nya, I was kind of caught up in my thoughts" I said to my little sister making her giggle slightly

"So do you think about the Ninja thing" Nya asked me

"I think it's a scam Nya! We can't just trust some random guy! How did he even leave the boxes and the scrolls in our house anyway?! We should call the cops for breaking and entering!" I yelled

"You can't be serious Kai! This is a great opportunity!" Nya said to me

"I don't want you getting hurt Nya, you're the only family member I have left" I said frowning sadly

"Hey I can handle myself Kai, you don't have to keep worrying about me all the time" Nya said comforting me as she smiled at me making me smile back

"Do you really think this is a good idea Nya? We could both get injured during a battle, or maybe even worse" I say

"It's what our parents would've wanted us to do, we have to take this Wu guy up on this offer Kai" Nya said to Kai

"I guess you're right Nya, come on let's check out our ninja suits" I said as I walked over and picked up the two boxes and then placed them in front of us. Nya opened up her box to reveal a grey ninja suit with a matching coloured hood

"Wow I love it!" Nya said as she looked it up and down

I opened up my box to see a red and black ninja suit with a black ninja hood, I gotta say my suit is also pretty good

"Okay okay this is actually pretty good" I said admiring this Sensei Wu's suit making ability. I wonder what the other people's suits look like. I also wonder who the other people are! I better not be stuck with a bad team, at least Nya is also going to be a Ninja I guess

Me and Nya put our suits back in their boxes and put them in our rooms, we then ordered a pizza and had that for our dinner. We then decided to call it a night and go to bed, tomorrow we were going to suit up and meet up at the Warehouse and meet our teammates, tomorrow is certainly going to be interesting
