Part 5

"UGGGHHHHH WHEN ARE WE GONNA GET THERE?!" 

Star gripped the steering wheel tightly, her knuckled turning white, "WE GET THERE WHEN WE GET THERE!" 

Hog smirked in the seat right behind Star, "Nice Disney reference." 

Athen groaned tiredly, looking down at Star's phone, "Take a left at this next road."

"Am I the only one who has to go pee?" Rad announced, earning several grimaces, and a "NOBODY NEEDED TO KNOW THAT" from Moon. 

"Can you stop yelling please?!" Dune said loudly, their hands over their ears squeezing their eyes shut. 

Gash was in the back, sitting next to Moon and Bar, asleep, like Bar. Gash was slumped against the side of the car, though, while Bar was leaned up against Moon arm, her head resting on Moon's shoulder. Before Gash had fallen asleep they had offered to move Bar, but Moon snapped at them saying, "She is completely fine where she is, and I don't want to wake her." After that Gash had shrugged and nodded off to sleep as well. How they slept in the chaos no one knew. 

When they got to the turn Star was about to miss it until she quickly swerved and made it. Causing the back seats to become even more chaotic with people crashing into each other. 

"STOP TOUCHING ME OH MY GOD!" Al erupted, Dune having been pushed into him because of the turn. 

"IF YOU GUYS DON'T SHUT UP I'M GOING TO KILL EVERYONE IN HERE AND THEN MYSELF!" Star screamed. 

Athens looked out the window trying to get rid of his headache and try to stay awake at the same time, and saw that the car next to them, the driver was giving them odd looks. 

"Everyone's so loud that the car's next to us can even hear us," Athens grumbled to himself. 

But little to his knowledge that wasn't the reason the driver was watching them. 

Before anyone could react the car next to them slammed into the side of the van, causing an eruption of cursing to explode. 

That woke Bar up. 

"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!" Bar screamed, causing everyone to jump since she was asleep only a moment before. 

The car crashed into them again. 

"They've spotted us you dingbats!" Star yelled, "Boom! (She had given Alex, the one without the nickname, a nickname at the beginning of the trip. He had blown up her shed so now his name was officially Boom.) Al! Get your blasters ready and fire at that car!" 

She then sped up on the highway, evading cars in front of them, and the car still chasing them, as she rolled down the windows. 

Al and Boom made their way to a window and started to shoot at the car, causing explosions when Boom missed, and hit the road, since the car was making unpredictable movements on the highway. 

Several cars had pulled over and where on their phones as the scene laid out in front of them, and Athen rolled down his own window, and started to climb out of it. 

"WHAT THE HECK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING ATHEN?!" Star yelled, "You don't have a gun!" 

Athen continued to climb, ignoring her, until he was quickly on top of the car. He grabbed his dagger out of it's sheath and then started to make his way to the edge of the van, then hopping onto the trailer where the Chimera was being kept. He pointed his dagger at the car and automatically a wave of blue fire came from the tip and evolved the car. 

When the wave of fire stopped, the ruins of the car was far behind them and Athen smirked to himself as he heard shouting from inside the car. 

He was about to climb back inside the van when he saw something shoot up from the wreckage, sirens coming closer and closer to them. 

Athen's eyes widened as he saw a creature, no longer human, with large black wings and a humanoid figure flying towards them with an angry roar. 

"Aw, crap, we're screwed," Said a voice behind Athen. He almost fell off of the trailer until he realized that it was just Al. 

"What are you doing up here?!" Athen shouted over the noise of wind rushing past him. 

"I've had to work in much worse conditions than this I'm cool up here," Al responded, standing up. He pointed his blaster at the monster and started to shoot. But it simply evaded them, and screeched, causing a car's, nearby, windows to shatter. 

"WHAT THE ASHDA IS THAT THING?!" Moon screamed sticking her head out a window, and glaring daggers. She was also holding a very large and sharp dagger too. 

"I don't know!" Athen said back. 

Meanwhile, Star stuck her head of the window and shouted for them to hold onto something. But her voice traveled in the wind and they didn't hear as she quickly pulled off of the road an into the forest, crashing into the trees.
