"HOLY HERA WHAT'S A CHIMERA DOING HERE?!" Athen screamed, hiding behind the wreckage of the burned down shed, and others, who, some of them, had readied their weapons.
"Ya'll calm down!" Star said, next to Ferox, who was sniffing the air around them curiously, eying the strangers.
"What is that thing!?" Rad yelled, holding a gun in front of him at Ferox.
"Point your weapons down!" Star demanded, one hand on Ferox's back.
They all exchanged looks, except for Gash who stepped away from the others and towards Ferox, smiling.
"Aw, who's a pretty Chimera?" Gash cooed, reaching forward to pet the Goat head.
The loin head purred and nudged Gash to pet him too, while the snake part sniffed Gash's short hair.
"See?" Star said, "He's completely safe. Unless I tell them to not be, of course." She added with a shrug.
"How in the world did you get a Chimera?" Athen gaped, still not fully trusting the Chimera.
Star shrugged, "They kinda found me."
"That can't be a coincidence," Al said, cocking his head at the beast, who was now getting pet by Gash, Alex (the one without the nickname yet), and Moon.
"I agree," Bar said, "Back where I'm from, my trainer told me every day-" She stood up straighter and put on a mock frown, and started to frantically gesture as she spoke, "Nothing is accidental! The Gods make everything happen for a reason!"
Moon giggled at her, and Bar shot her a smile.
Star shrugged, and watched with amusement at the others, saying, "Whatever you think. But I do know that we leave in the morning."
"Where are we going?" Al asked, putting his gun, or blaster as he called it, in a leather sheath on his belt.
"To the place where the tides turn orange of course."

Star sighed as she tried to gather everyone back into the house. They had been working the entire day, and Star still felt underprepared. She wanted Elise to be there with her. They had worked together to get this far, she should at least get to meet the "Chosen Ones".
"How are we gonna get there?" Someone asked.
"By car of course," Star said.
"What is that?" Bar, Moon, Al, and Dune asked at the same time.
"A type of transport," Star answered, "Anyway, our goal is to get to-"
The sound of keys jangling in the front door stopped her and Star looked over to see Elise walking into the house.
Elise's eyes widened, "Oh my god."
Star smiled and turned back to the others, "Just a small warning, she's about to go full nerd mode."
Star noticed that some of them didn't know what that meant until Elise rushed past Star and towards the first person close to her.
That happened to be Al.
"Oh, Alex Braxeton, is it?" Elise cooed, grabbing his face in her hands and examining it before she was pushed away.
"Hey, how do you know that?" Al demanded.
But Elise had already moved on, and had grabbed the arm of Alex, who frowned at her as she spoke, "Ooh, you're not like the others, are you? You aren't even from-"
