"Thank you, Sei." mahinang anas ni Azrich nang pumasok siya sa kwarto ko upang madatnan ang anak na mahimbing pang natutulog.

I let him go to the bed to wake his daughter up while I stayed at the door. I crossed my arms and watched them. It was such a nice scene to watch.

"Baby..." He caressed the kid's hair. "Wake up na." He tapped her cheek

But Azaiah didn't budge.

"Hayaan mo munang matulog. She needs it." Sabi ko rito saka lumabas sa pinto upang magluto.

He followed me to the kitchen and watch me prepare a meal.

"Kamusta siya?" Tanong nito sa akin halatang pagod ang kanyang boses at kita rin sa mga mata niya ang pagod, puyat at pagkamugto.

"37 bumaba na naman na ang temp. Sana lang yang nilakad mo maganda ang maging resulta." I told him while I was pouring some oil into the pan.

"Sana nga... Phone mo umilaw." he pointed at my phone which was resting at the counter top.

I tossed the bacon to the pan and get some eggs

"Mag-bati ka ng itlog." iniabot ko sa kanya ang bowl na naglalaman ng tatlong itlog.

He accepted it and stood up to get chopsticks while I came back to flip the bacon.

"Daddy?" Azaiah walked into the kitchen holding her pikachu stuffed toy to her chest habang ang isang kamay niya naman ay kinukusot ang mata.

Az quickly placed the bowl on the table and ran to his daughter and carried her while showering her kisses.

"Baby!" Azrich kissed Azaiah and the latter giggled because of her father's tickles.

"Da! Dad! Daddy!" Azaiah's giggles poured all over the room.

I turned the induction cooker off when I finished cooking. "Hey that's enough you two." Awat ko sa kanila "Sit." I ordered them.

Azaiah immediately sat on the chair while Azrich was helping me set the table

"Thank you."

I smiled "No problem, anyways kumain na kayo. I'll have coffee na lang male-late na ako. You know the drill." I looked at my wristwatch

Nangunot naman agad ang kanyang noo sa aking sinabi. " What? No, uupo ka at kakain. I called Reia and told her na baka late ka nang pumasok since ikaw ang nag-alaga kay Azaiah and she said it was fine."

I pursed my lips and looked at him suspiciously "Sure ka?" I mentally checked my schedule at mamaya pa naman ang operasyon. Mabilis lang naman akong mag-rounds so okay lang.

He rolled his eyes on me and pulled his phone out of the pocket of his ripped jeans. "Here."

He showed me a conversation of him and Reia saying that it was fine dahil nakapagpahinga siya ng mabuti at ipapahandle nalang niya kay Justale ang pag-iikutan ko kung hindi ako makapasok on time.

"Eat na." He pouted at me

Inirapan ko siya saka hinampas sa balikat "mukha kang aso." Nilampasan ko siya saka tinabihan si Azaiah sa table.

"Baby, mommy said I look like a dog." Madrama niyang sabi sa bata. He even batted his lashes for goodness' sake!

I smirked at him "Hindi naman ganayan yung ex ko noong highschool." I took a bite of my bacon.

"There are things called changes, Sei. In case you didn't know." He rolled his eyes at me "Don't touch me tamputi ako sayo."

Napaamang ako sa kanya "I'm not even touching you! And hindi ka maputi negro ka!" I pointed his face.

"See baby? She even bullies my skin tone. Our skin tone." Pagpapaawa pa niya.

"Aaah" ngumanga naman si Azaiah

I laughed and that annoyed him "Walang pake si Aza sayo." Sabi ko saka sinubuan ang bata.

Nang maubos ko ang nasa plato ko ay si Az na ang nagprisintang mag-urong habang si Aza ay nasa living room at naglalaro ng dolls.

"Go to work na. I'll do the dishes like the drill." Ngumiti ito sa akin.

Tumango lang ako rito at akmang aalis na nang kuhanin niya ang kamay ko at iabot sa akin ang coat at phone ko.

I was taken a back when he leaned forward to go near my ears

"Your other ex dm-ed you." Whispered Azrich while smirking
