It had been several weeks since the first class of the new year and things were finally in full swing. classes were fully starting,and students were already becoming stronger with their lessons. from history with port,to combat with glynda and the huntsman. however there were other things that weren't changing. since initiation, Y/N continued to ignore ruby and yang,despite their efforts. however the bonds between other groups were slowly growing over time. Y/N got to meet Jaunes group. to be perfectly honest they weren't such a bad group altogether.
as the day continued to pass,it was eventually time to have lunch in the mess hall. everyone began to enjoy their food,until team MSTR felt a presence behind them. each of the members looked at each other before slowly turning around to see Weiss behind them with a slight smile on her face.
Weiss: good afternoon to you team MSTR. i know you must all be very busy,but i would like to speak with Diana please.
Diana: and what exactly do you want to talk about schnee?
Weiss: well....ever since initiation i keep thinking back to our fight back in the emerald forest....you were so strong and your fighting strategy was almost impeccable....so i can to ask....please teach me!
Weiss then quickly bowed in front of Diana,causing some of the other students to turn at her confused. then in one quick response, Diana turned away from her
Diana: pass
Weiss: what?? what do you mean pass??
Diana: simple...teaching would be a waste of my time,especially for the likes of someone like you
Weiss: someone....like me?
Diana: think about it this way, if i,a faunus were to teach you, a schnee, how to fight,the school would no doubt think that you bribed me or threatened me to do it. to be frank i have my own position here to worry about. and i refuse to let it go down the drain.
before Weiss could reply,the bells signalling that lunch was over,began to ring. after the team cleaned up and went back to their dorm to prepare for the next class Jaime spoke up
Jaime: hey Diana?....don't you think you were a little rough with her?
Diana: oh please,she had to have known me saying yes would have been a slim chance. plus you know what shes done to us faunus....there are just some things that cant be forgotten Jaime....i'm sorry
Jaime: oh.....well maybe it cant be forgotten....but maybe it can be mended?
Diana looked over at him before softening her glance. after a moment she grabbed her bag and quietly went to her next class.
after the day was done, Jaime,dani and Y/N decided to head out to vale for dinner,but Diana stayed to study for the next exams that were soon coming. after the sun went down, Diana heard a gently knocking at the door. pausing her studies she got up,and opened the door,to see Weiss on her knees,and her head almost touching the floor,in a bowing position
Diana: you really wont let this go,will you?
Weiss: i made a promise,to be the best teammate i could be,and i cant keep that promise if im unable to train....so please...
Diana looked at her and remembered what Jaime had told her earlier
Diana: mended huh.....alright schnee you got a deal
Weiss: wait,you're really gonna train me?
Weiss quickly stood up, but was stopped when Diana held 3 fingers up in front of Weiss' face
Diana: i will do it on 3 conditions. rule 1 is to never waste my time. rule 2 is that you must follow my instructions to the letter....and rule 3 is.....you may be a schnee,but that doesn't give you the rights to be a bossy brat. so my finally rule is....to act like a normal human being. to me titles mean absolutely nothing if they are not earned. understood?
Weiss: i....i understand miss Diana. i promise i will not disappoint you.
Diana: very well then. get some sleep kid,because i want to see you in the courtyard by 5 am. now get moving
Weiss: y-yes ma'am!
Weiss then scurried back to her dorm,allowing Diana to let out a soft sigh. before she could walk in she heard snickering down the hall. she turned to see dani,Y/N and Jaime smiling with dani's scroll out
Diana: were you watching us??
Y/N: how could we not? seems like you took Jaime's words to heart....i'm proud of ya Diana.
Diana: well w-whatever.....i'm going to bed,so goodnight!
she then rushed into their dorm,causing the others to laugh. meanwhile Weiss was laying in bed,the rest of team RWBY sleeping. however the news she had received caused her to get too excited to even think of sleeping. she was so happy to have found herself
