This shop was a lot different from the last one. It was more contemporary. A lot more chic and hip. More geared towards tourists. It's painted white on one side and has brick on the other. I feel as though the second story is the owner's home. I stepped in, walking farther into the shop. "Hello...Is anyone here." I asked as I walked deeper into the shop. A handsome guy was sitting in front of an altar. I was so fascinated by it; there was a small statue in the center of the table. She wore all yellow; there were slices of fresh and dried oranges on the table, along with a jar of honey and cinnamon sticks. There were shells and money on the table, along with candles that were anointed and lit.
I stood there waiting for him to get done with his meditation. I walked around the shop. I was observing the unique decor of the shop. There were pictures of indigenous men and women. On the wall, their beautiful features stand out amongst their Afros and beautiful hairstyles. I loved the energy, and it's so much stronger than any place I've been that's considered to be a crystal shop. It's as if the shop has been blinded and covered by certain beings and entities, which is a good thing. Spiritual protection is an absolute must. In a town like this, you have to keep your guard up no matter what. You can't have beings creeping in and trying to take over your vibrations. I sight to myself.
"May I help you?" He asked from behind me. I jumped, a bit surprised. I didn't expect him to be the type who would sneak up on you. "I would like to get a job here," I said. He looked at me, a bit surprised. "Honey, you look like a wannabe witch. You wouldn't last a day in here." He said to me. I looked at him, a bit surprised. He doubted me in every sense. I sighed to myself. "I didn't know that so-called spiritual people are quick to judge and talk out of their ass," I said too quickly to take back. He gasped, clutching his imaginary pearls. "Oh no, you didn't, honey." He told me. I rolled my eyes. I was very frustrated. I needed one thing before I left. I grabbed a bag of Star Anise and Black salt. I needed to do a spell to keep him out of my room and away from me. I grabbed some vervain and the most bitter herb I could find. I need to get his venom out of me. I need to weaken his mark on me.
I grab a candle and a black tourmaline. I walk up to the register and place everything on top. He walked to the door and flipped off the open sign, and closed the curtains. He then locked the door. He closed at 7 pm. It's 6:50 pm. I don't blame him for closing a bit early. He walks behind the register. I keep my eyes on the items as he cashes them. I could tell by the way he was looking at the products he was a bit worried. "You're not trying to break a hex, are you?" He basically mummers it as if someone could what us. I roll my eyes. "How much is it?" I ask, changing the subject. "It's free to tell me what you're trying to do." He said. I laugh to myself. "I'll give you $50 and do my wanna-be witch stuff on my own," I said, grabbing the bag and walking to the door. "I turned to see that he had not moved.
He was in the same spot. "Can you open the door for me, please? If I'm not mistaken, isn't this kidnapping or napping?" I question. I laughed and suddenly felt this strange surge of energy in my stomach. It was as if I was being summoned. This bright red glow surrounded my vision. I could hear Lazarus calling me. "Who is he?" The owner asked. "I can tell by the way he's summoning you right now. He marked you already." He said to me. "An incubus I wanted and intended to summon. Now I'm just trying to keep a distance between us. Now can you open the door... Please?" I asked.
"Have you both had sex?" He asked. "What?" I replied to him. "You heard my question. Now answer." He said. "No... I mean... He gave me head, and that's it. He's been fucking his work wife." I replied to his question. "Okay, after you do that protection spell, keep him from ever touching or having sex with you. It's going to be very hard. Mainly because he feels he has ownership over you." He said. " I work with him. That's why I'm trying to get a job here. I want to cut that in half. So that I can get a break from him." I said. He acknowledged it. He walked over to his herb wall and pulled a few herbs off the shelf. He placed them in a bowl and ground them into a cloud of dust. Then he places the lids on the jars and puts them back on the shelf. After doing so, he established the powdered herbs inside the small tablet. He then grabs a small black pill bottle and hands it to me.
"This should last you about two weeks. It should keep you off his radar and on the radar of others. I want to warn you about that. It might create some tension. But it won't be so bad. He's only going to be able to look. Even if he wants to touch, he will be on his knees. If this doesn't work, you can come back for a job, and I'll give it to you." He laughed to himself. I know it will last a few days, but what happens if I get busy and can't get the pills? I shook the thought out of my head. "Thank you," I said to him. He walked to the door and opened it. "You're welcome, darling." He said. I walked out of the shop and into the night.
