I woke up that morning, surprising very happy for a school day.

I made my way over to my window and to my surprise it was opposite Jayden's bedroom window.

He's been living next door for almost a month now.

And I never noticed.

I saw him standing in he's bedroom shirtless.

Wow those abs.

Wait what I'm a thinking about.

God forgive me the devil has used my eyes.

Just while I was in my thoughts my phone vibrated from my study table.

It was a text from Jayden.

Jay:
Like what you see baby.

I was shocked.

I didn't know he saw me. I tried to cover it up as much as I could.

Me:
Yeah I love your curtains..

I know my reply was dumb. Like for reals what was I thinking.

Jay:
Yeah right... I've never seen anyone drool over a curtain.

I gasped at my phone before I thought of a reply.

Me:
I wasn't drooling😑

Why do I keep giving dumb replies.

Jay:
Yeah that's right. You need to ride to school?

Me:
Yes please.

Jay:
See you soon.

I went ahead and got ready for school.

I went down to the kitchen for breakfast after getting dressed.

I saw Donny sitting at the table already. Just to annoy him I messed up he's hair.

'sis....why you gotta mess up my hair." Donny said while trying to put it back in place.

"well little brother it just so happens to be my solemn duty. " I said while chuckling.

"if you keep this up I'm sure my girlfriend's gonna get mad". He said and I gasped at he's words.

"you have a girlfriend and I'm single". I said with an apple in my mouth.

"well yeah I ain't as boring as you are". He said

"I just don't really have anyone in mind". I said while raising my shoulders.

"how about our new neighbor. Jayden is it? " he said while giving me a wink.

"Hell no, Jayden is.... "I couldn't think of any words.

"is what" Donny questioned.

Just then I saw my mum coming down the stairs.

I gestured at Donny to be quiet and pointed over at our mum.

As usual she's all about work. Holding different folders and going through one at the same time.

I didn't feel like talking to her not like she noticed I just went outside.

I saw Jayden waiting for me on he's motorcycle. Unlike last time he finally got a spare helmet.

" hi baby" he greeted in he's usual annoying way.

I rolled my eyes and got on.

I've been on he's motorcycle so many times now that I don't get scared anymore.

We arrived at school shortly.

I saw Harley standing at the parking lot while we pulled in.

She immediately rushed over and hugged me sympathetically.

"what's going on "I asked curiously.

"didn't you hear. " Harley said while she pulled away.

"he's back". She said and I felt my heart sink.

I was numb and I couldn't say I word.

"who's back". Jayden asked from behind.

Speaking of the devil I saw him come out of the school with a group of  friends.

He walked over to where we were standing.

"miss me baby". He said while looking at me.

"who would ever miss a monster like you". Harley spoke out for me while I just stood there like the idiot I was.

"I'm sure Carla here did alot". He said while releasing a dumb smirk.

I wish I could just slap it out of he's face.

And instead of doing that I just walked away like a coward.

I tried to hold back the tears. As they made they're way out I walked straight into the girls' bathroom.

I quickly walked into an empty stall. I couldn't hold the tears anymore.

Just then Harley came to my rescue. She knocked vigorously on the door.

Then I finally opened up for her.

She got into the tiny stall with me.

She held me close to her chest caressing my face.

"Cole's a bastard don't give him any thought okay". She said while still trying to comfort.

Cole Andrews is my ex boyfriend.

We dated for six months. And in those six months I thought I was in love.

We had great times together. We would go to the beach every weekend and just lay on the sand and talk.

He knew absolutely everything about me. From my favorite color down to my deepest secrets.

Everyone thought we were the dream couple.

Not until he ruined everything.

Before Harley and I became inseparable, there was actually three of us.

Harley, Jade and I.

We were inseparable. We did absolutely everything together.

Everyone was jealous at how close we were. I heard rumors that people at school started calling us the three musketeers.

I laughed hard the day I heard that.

We were the best until Cole and Jade ruined it all.

One night I went over to Cole's house. I went straight into he's room like I always did.

When I opened the door I dropped down on my knees out of shock.

I saw Jade half naked on he's bed. While he was shirtless.

What hurt the most was that he didn't even show any signs of remorse.

He just started kissing Jade right in front of me. Aware of my presence

I was dumb founded. The guy I loved.
My first. And one of my best friends.

I finally gathered strength to say something all I could say was "it's over".

That day I walked out of he's room and out of he's life.

When I finally got hold of my emotions again he walked back into my life just to break me again.
