Blake

What the hell is wrong with Hailey! She nearly screwed everything over with Katia. Though I have to say I breathed a sigh of relief when she called Hailey like that. I always thought she was sort of timid, but I guess I was wrong with my assumption. And now I have another date with her tomorrow! There is something special about her, I can't quite put my finger on it at this moment but there is definitely something different about her. Like for starters she works at the woman's shelter. How many other kids my age could be so selfless and devote their time like that to people who are on their last bit of luck? And then secondly she loved to feel the wind in her hair. Now I personally know every girl that has rode in my car would NEVER ride with the windows even cracked to afraid one single solitary strand would be out of place. Katia wasn't as vain as the others. She didn't have to be, she was beautiful just the way she was.

God, I can't wait for tomorrow.

Katia

I wonder why Amanda even brought up me returning to this small town. She's known for months I have no intention of returning her to live. Of course I'll come back for a visit or holidays but permantly, I think not. New York was in no shortage of people with personal problems that would eventually need her assistance with their shambles of a life. Just knowing that I'll never be in short supply of people to help is enough to make me want to stay there. When I know back here I'll see the same women coming in one week complaining of their drunken evil husbands that smacked them around for not preparing their dinner but not even a week later they return to them. I know it's not my place to judge but these woman that do this clearly don't want real help. How am I to help someone that doesn't truly want my help? Like my Grandma always said, “You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.” I want the constant change that New York will bring. Never a dull moment, always something new and exciting. The only thing exciting around these parts is Blake. Since prom he has completely thrown my normal boring life for a loop that's for sure. And now I'm having a second date with him! Oh, and let's not forget the cherry on top of that sundae, he totally blew Hailey off for me! It took everything in me to not fist pump in the middle of the hallway. Now he's picking me up for school tomorrow and we have a date in the evening. Jesus, I doubt I'll sleep a wink tonight from the excitement! Oh well, I'll just spend the entire night deciding what to wear! Maybe I should make Ty bring me all her cutest outfits over so I can try them on too.

Ty

I just spent that past two hours rating outfits for Katia! That girl has offically lost it! She is freaking out about this date she's having tomorrow, well later today with Blake. I'm happy for her, honestly. It's been a long time since she's been this genuinely excited about something like this. Trust me when we were younger all she could do was day dream or tell her 'what if' stories about her and Blake some how falling head over heels madly in love with one another. Though I don't blame her, he's pretty hot, but I always assumed he had the intelligence of a butter bean. See what I know. I just hope she doesn't get in too deep before she leaves. She's been wanting this move forever and the last thing she needs right now is something or some-ONE to derail that plan. I on the other hand was pleasantly surprised when Mikey's grandpa gave him his early graduation gift. It was more than enough to sign the papers for our apartment and to get some basic furniture! So instead of moving out at the end of the summer it looks like we'll be moving in the middle of the summer. Mikey wants to be sure we have enough saved before we move in just incase something goes awry. That's my baby, always has to certainty, and safety. Sometimes it can be annoying but in this situation I think it's endearing. What girl doesn't want a man that can take care of them, and this one wants to be sure he can do it comfortably. Oh Mikey, I swear you are the man of my dreams and then some.
