Getting Called up to the USWNT at 18

Training Camp

I'm excited today is the day I'm flying out to New Jersey for the Camp, my dad helps me pack for New Jersey, when we get finished he drives me to the Airport i get through security, i hand the women my ticket and i go to my plane, i sit down in my seat, right as I think I have a empty seat beside me I see Lindsey and Mal sitting down next to me "Hey strangers" I say as Mal smiles "I Knew we lived in the same state but I thought we would be on different planes" Lindsey says sitting down to my left and Mal to my right. I smile and Mal has her phone out taking a video of me me an Lindsey doing dumb things and posts it on Snapchat and Instagram tagging us, I laugh and I look at her and I see she is staring at me I look her up and down and she just stares at me so I turn my head and look straight. Mal places her hand on my thigh I turn to her "So are you excited for Camp" She asks "Yeah, i wonder who I'm rooming with" I say "Me too" "Me three" We all laugh. I put my Airpods in and I see Lindsey and Mal are looking at me, I close my eyes trying to fall asleep blasting music. After a while I hear "Can you believe she is sitting right here i mean look at her" Lindsey says "I swear the whole team has a crush on her" Mal says "Even Alex Was talking about her" "Yeah i know" "Have you seen her muscles" "Look at her Instagram page, thats all she posts are pictures with her shirt off" they go back and forth, and i fall asleep.
I wake up to Lindsey taking out my Airpod and saying "we are landing, wake up" i take out both Airpods and i put my head up and i see Mal is videoing me i smile and pose for the video, once we land we grab our bags and we meet the team once we are all here jill tells us to get on the bus Mal is sitting with Lindsey in the front of the bus, so I sit next to Jane in the back of the bus, when I sit down she smiles "Well hello there" She smiles and points to the sit next to her "Are you ready for Training" "Ready as ill ever be" i chuckle. When we get to the hotel Jill gives us roommates, and i hear the me and Mal are rooming together.
Mal shoots me a smile, Jill gives me a key card and I head up to my room. I put my suitcase my the dresser, my soccer bag by the bed and  i flop on the bed, I hear Mal come in she flops on the bed too beside me "Has someone had a hard day" she jokes "Umm yeah, that was my first time flying in an airplane" i say mal smiles "well its only 3PM and we are free today" "What do you wanna do Mal" i say closing my eyes" "Umm I don't know" i hear the door open and the rest of the team comes in "I thought you guys would be kissing all ready" Ash says and me and Mal blush and hide our faces and i see Sam, Lindsey, and Jane seem to get angered by that. We spend a while talking and getting to know each and the whole time Mal, Lindsey, Sam, and Jane were flirting with me, i just smiled and went about my day. "Remember curfew is 12AM, Don't be out to late" Carli basically the team mom says as they all leave our room at 10PM. Mal lays down and she falls alseep, i get changed into my go go outfit A sports bra and some Nike shorts and i lay down but I can't sleep. I get a text from Jane
Jane: I can't sleep, are you up?
Me: Yeah im up ill be there in 2 minutes
I sneak out of my room and i go to Jane's room, I open her door and she is sitting on her bed i sit down next to her "Hey whats up" I say looking at her "I can't sleep" "Me either" i say "Do you wanna watch a movie" i say "Uhh sure" we turn on a movie I scoot closer to Jane after a while she is alseep. I'll finish the movie then ill go back to my room i think to myself.
I wake up by Jane pushing my shoulder, "we are gonna be late for breakfast, come on" she says rushing "I don't even have a shirt on i went to your room in a sports bra" she throws me a shirt and we walk out to breakfast and we see the whole team and Mal, Emily, Kelley, Sam, and Lindsey look mad at me and Jane. "wait aren't you rooming with Mal" Alex Says "Its a long story" I say "You guys didnt, did you?" Pinoe asks "Oh my gosh, No" Jane says shaking her head. I get food.

After 2 weeks of the Camp, the team thinks I can really make the Roster. I have like 12 days left of camp and I've got really close to Jane, Mal, Emily, Lindsey, and Kelley today we have a free day, so we are going to the beach we are getting ready to go to the beach, once everyone is ready we get into the bus and we head to the beach. In the bus I'm sitting beside Mal, Mal takes her phone and videos the team because she singing songs being dumb, i see Mal tagged me and I playfully roll my eyes everyone has their phones out and videoing everyone. When we get to the beach I wait for everyone to leave the bus, I get out last when we get to the sand we set our towel and i take my tank top off and i have on a Nike Sports bra on and short Swimming trucks

I sit down, and see Mal staring at me, everyone walking into the water. "You gonna get into the water" i ask mal "ehhh No" she says "Yes you are" I see "Make me" she says and grins I pick her up and walk to the water and i throw her into the water she comes up for air "I didn't think you would actually throw me into the water" she says flipping her hair out of her face she swims toward me and I smile hovering in the water I see to my far left all the girls are together, she gets over to me and she stands up in the water, and i stand up, being 4 inches taller then her and i smile i crouch in the water and she does and same, she gets closer splashes water i tackle her playfully and i feel her rub her hands over my abs, i don't know if its on purpose or on accident I come up for air and I smile at Mal, we make eye contact and our eyes keep looking down at eachothers lips the eye contact gets broken by the team coming over to us Kelley jumps on my back and i splash her. We get out of the ocean and we dry off and change and we head back to the hotel
