BPOV: I woke up to a very annoying noise, my alarm. I rolled over on my bed and shut it off and sat up. My room is very plain right now, pastel pink, but no pictures or decorations yet. I have a vanity for my makeup, a dresser with the only picture I have, me and my mom, and an end table by my bed. I have a bay window with cushions but no decorations yet. There is a bathroom connected to my room and it is just a basic bathroom. When we ran, I only could take a backpack, so it had everything I could fit which was clothes, my tiny, ratty, pink stuffed pig, some books, and clothes and hygiene items. When we have some more money I am going to get decorations for my room. I have some money saved from my old job, and I am going to try and get one here. We have enough money, but my mom wants to wait a little before we go crazy and stuff, which is understandable. I roll out of bed and take my little bag of toiletries to the bathroom and shower. I brush my teeth and wash my face and walk back out to my room. I sit on my stool and put on deodorant, brush my hair, put my product in, and dry it leaving it down. I do natural makeup and head to my closet and pick from the few outfits I have right now. I decided on a baggy grey sweater under pastel pink overalls/skirt, and white converse.

(A/N, her outfit) I grab my backpack with the supplies we bought at the store last night and head out the door, grabbing an apple. "Bye mom, love you!" I yell, leaving out the door. "Bye Sweetie, text me when you get there! Have a great day love you!" She yells back from the kitchen, about to leave for work. I started my walk to school when a red haired boy ran up to me. "Hi! I think you are my new neighbor, my name is Archie." He said cheerfully. He was wearing jeans, a white shirt, and a varsity jacket. He was attractive, but not really my type. He seemed really nice and I needed friends. "Hi, um yeah. My name is Betty. Uh, Betty Cooper." I say looking down. I was trying to be social, but that whole anxiety thing and traumatic past makes it hard. "Well Hi, Betty. Would you like me to walk with you to school?" He said. I nodded. He could tell that I was shy, so he did most of the talking. I thought that he was really nice and was hoping that he would want to be my friend. "And this is Riverdale High!" he said, in his normally cheery voice. It was a normal looking highschool, minus the herd of motorcycles that other cars seemed to be avoiding. "It's... a school." I said and he chucked. "Archiekins!" I heard and looked up to see a raven haired girl in a black and purple dress and heels with a pearl necklace running up to Archie. She kissed his cheek and looked at me. "Archie, who is this?" She said sweetly. "Oh, this is Betty, my new neighbor. Betty, this is Veronica, my amazing girlfriend." He said and he pecked her lips. "Hi Betty. Don't worry, it's not as bad as it seems." She said laughing, motioning to the school. "Hi." I said looking down, rocking back and forth. "Are you shy?" She said. Veronica seemed like a rich bitch from afar, but she was being really nice to me and I really liked her. "Uh, y-yeah, sorry." I said, becoming anxious. "Oh, B, nothing to be sorry about, come on, lets see what class you have first." She said, grabbing my arm and leading my inside. I gave her my schedule and she looked at it. "Perfect, we have english together." She said and looked at my whole schedule. "So, you have most of your classes with me, besides history and spanish. I am taking german because I already know spanish. But you have history with Archie and Cheryl is in your spanish class. She is my other friend that seems intimidating, but I can tell she will love you." She then walked me to class and started talking about the social classes. I already knew I would be in the shy people that just exist, which I was okay with. "Ok, so Archie is with the Jocks. A lot are players, but there are a few like Archie that are really nice. Then there are the nerds, music kids, cheerleaders, me and Cheryl, and the serpents." She said the last part quietly. "The who?" I asked, confused. "They are this dangerous gang, and they are led by Jughead Jones. Stay clear of them. There is one girl, Toni, who is nice, but that is just because she is on cheer because she wanted to hang out with other girls, and there are only two in the high schools serpents. All of the others, stay away for your safety." She told me and took me into class. There were some open seats by a red haired girl and a boy with a 90's looking style. "This is Cheryl and Kevin, our GBF." she told me, gesturing to the two. "Who might this be?" Cheryl asked, looking at me. Veronica was not kidding, she was intimidating. "My n-name is Betty." I said, looking at a spot of dirt on my shoes. "She is really shy." Veronica said. "Well hi! Don't worry, I don't bite unless you are a bitch, and you are not." She laughed and hugged me. I smiled. "And I am Kevin, and I LOVE you outfit. It is so cute!" He said, hugging me. "Hi." I said, giving him a smile. "Thank you." We sat down and the bell rang. Right after, a group of people in leather jackets walked in. I assumed those were the Serpents, because V only mentioned one gang. There was a tall boy with black hair, a pink haired girl, and the most attractive boy I had ever seen. He had blue eyes, curly raven hair in a crown beanie, and was all around perfect. We made eye contact and he looked at me confused and I quickly looked away. "TT!" Cheryl squealed. I assumed that was Toni, and the pink haired girl ran over and pecked Cheryl on the lips before going to the back of the class to sit with the rest of the serpents. As they walked by, the beanie wearing boy winked at me, and I sank down in my seat. Oh no...
A/N: Hi! How are you guys? I am really excited for this story, but idk how long each chapter will be. This one was pretty long but idk if they all will. I really wanted Archie to not be a bad guy in this story, because a lot of bughead stories, including mine sometimes, make him a bad guy, but I want him to just be her friend, Archie. I also wanted to make V, Cheryl, and Kev all really nice to her because I don't like bitchy people ig lol. I'm really excited for this ride Please comment! Love you guys!
