I took a step back.

"This room is really impressive, especially with everything set up in here," Kassie said.

'Run now.' My inner voice said.

My chest was rising.

'Run now.' My inner voice said again.

Kassie was talking to him.

"Was there anything you guys wanted to see?" He asked.

He looked at us three.

"Not really, just wanted to see the room and meet you. We didn't have a reason for being here. Was your dad also a technical analysis, that's good that you followed in his footsteps." Kassie said.

I tuned out the conversation.

I was watching him closely.

I wasn't overreacting.

My chest tightens.

I couldn't move.

Kassie ended the convo, and we were moving to the door.

"You want to see the lab next?" The director asked as we were out of the room.

I was shaking.

I couldn't breathe.

"Derek, lead us back, please," Kassie said.

I walked quickly behind Derek.

I didn't care what was being said behind me with the confused Directors.

I rushed to the group in front of me.

Where Dalton was.

I could hear gasping; I saw Tiara gasping as she held her chest.

Derek had an alarmed look on his face.

"Tiara, Tiara, look at me. Calm down. I'm right here." Derek said to Tiara.

The technical analysis.

A flashback popped in my head.

It's him.

Dalton came to me, alarmed.

I moved back.

We have to go; we have to go.

"It's him; it's him," Tiara said through gasping.

"Melanie. You're shaking, baby." Dalton said.

"It's him, that voice. It's him." Tiara said. She was trying to say out her words.

"Dalton, we have to go," I said.

"It's fucking Edwards!?" Agent Bones said, grabbing his gun.

I froze.

Something was hurting the back of my neck.

No. Something is going to happen.

"We need to go!" I yelled.

I turned to look at Kassie and Tiara.

"Now, we need to go now. Where are the stairs." I said.

We have to take the stairs; elevators have cameras, we can avoid the stairs cameras.

He's too smart; we can't stay here.

I grabbed Tiara and Kassie's hands.

I was rushing to the door that leads to the stairs.

He'll take us; if we don't go, he'll take us.

My neck was hurting.

"Ladies, stay with us. You shouldn't leave our side." I heard the Director yell.
