The rest of the afternoon passed slowly. You stayed in the bedroom for the most part sleeping off your headache. The few times you'd left the room the demigods were all bundled in the living room talking in low voices.
Something was definitely off.
It wasn't until the evening set when you stepped out of the bedroom that an eerie silence filled the house.
Your heart contracted when you realized that not a single soul was in the apartment. You couldn't remember the last time it was this quiet. It was unsettling.
You cautiously padded through the vacant, dark residence.
You reached the large living room window that faced the front of the street and paused. Seven figures milled around on the quickly darkening street. The sky above was transforming into a bruising purple as the sun sank down on the horizon transforming said figures into nothing but shadows.
What the heck were they doing?
Despite the bad lighting, you could still see them fairly clearly. And as far as you could tell they all appeared to be just standing around.
You were about to go outside. About to ask what they were all doing.
That's when they vanished.
