"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to blow his face off." I stated, not turning back to face my brother.

"You can't do that!"

"Watch me."

"Whose face is she blowing off?" Harry's voice sounded somewhere behind me.

"Malfoy's." Neville sighed.

"Longbottom?" I stopped in my tracks at the sound of professor McGonagall's voice.

"Yes, professor?" I asked politely, trying to hide the deep rage I was feeling inside.

"Where are you going?" She questioned, raising an eyebrow, looking from Neville back to me.

"To the Slytherin common room, professor." I stated. There was no point in lying. Neville groaned softly at my response.

"And what exactly would you be doing in the Slytherin common room, miss Longbottom?" She asked.

"Cursing Draco Malfoy's face off, professor." I said, as if it were that simple.

"I'm afraid I can't let you curse anyone's face off, miss Longbottom. Back to your common room, please, it's near curfew." She scolded, but she had poorly disguised the amusement twinkling in her eyes. "All of you."

I groaned, and followed Neville and Harry back to the common room where we were met with several curious glances.

"So, how does Malfoy's face look?" Ginny asked, grinning and I glared at Neville and Harry.

"They slowed me down enough for professor McGonagall to stop me from going there." I rolled my eyes. "But there's always tomorrow."

"Let it go." Neville sighed. "He's not worth it and you know it."

"No, but you're worth it." I argued. "What makes him better than us? Nothing! Piece of garbage." I muttered the last part and Neville smiled softly.

"Whatever you do, it won't change anything. Malfoy's always been a git and he'll always be one." Neville shrugged.

"He's right." Hermione spoke up, not even lifting her nose from the book she was reading. "Malfoy may be a piece of garbage, but he won't change for anyone."

I rolled my eyes at the both of them and Ginny followed me up to our dorm. I took a deep breath and settled down on my bed.

"Easy now, we already have a reputation of being trigger happy." Ginny joked and I huffed.

"I just can't believe the nerve of him!" I shook my head. "And they won't even say anything about it, it's so frustrating!" I told her and she sighed, nodding.

"I understand, but we all know charging after him won't do anyone any good." Ginny shrugged.

"The fact that they're right about that is even more infuriating." I scoffed, crossing my arms over my chest. I was behaving like a child and I knew it, but I was too stubborn to do anything about it.

Ginny didn't respond, she just chuckled at my reply and pulled out a textbook.

I'd taken every measure to avoid any sixth year Slytherins in the next few weeks. I did this for two reasons. One; admittedly, my brother and his friends were right and hexing them won't make their behaviour change. Two; despite being aware of fact number one, I had a temper that was hardly ever properly controlled and I didn't trust myself not to lash out if I did meet any Slytherins on my path.
