"Oi, Green! Where've you been?" Oliver Wood's voice pierced my ears and I sighed, I'd been trying to avoid our quidditch captain for as long as possible.

"Oh, hi Oliver!" I smiled, sending a pleading look at Hermione who sent me one of pity and walked away towards Ron.

"I need to go over the plays with you, I haven't seen you since last practice!" He exclaimed when he reached me.

"Honestly, Oliver, I'm kind of busy if you haven't noticed, I've got O.W.L.s this year." I tried.

"Yes, and I've got N.E.W.T.s. Now, come on, this is my last year as captain and I won't be losing again." Oliver pleaded and I sighed, knowing he wouldn't give up.

I followed him into the common room and my face lit up when I saw the Weasley twins sitting on the couch. When they noticed Wood, they tried to make a run for it as well.

"Stay put for a moment." Oliver called after them and they slouched back down on the sofa. I sat down between them and rested my head on George's shoulder.

"I tried to make a run for it, obviously I failed." I muttered and I felt him chuckle.

"You lasted longer than any of us."

"Alright so, here's what we're going to do." Oliver started explaining and after an hour, I started falling asleep.

"Green! Are you even listening?" Oliver shouted and I jolted upright.

"Win the game." I muttered and yawned, hearing the twins chuckle beside me.

"Well, obviously." Oliver commented and I sighed.

"Honestly, Wood, I have rounds in ten minutes and my essay for Snape isn't finished. You do realise I need a passing grade to be on the team?" I told him and he sighed, nodding.

"Alright, then, maybe I'm worrying too much." He muttered and I got up.

"Oi, love, I can finish your essay if you want me to." Fred's voice sounded and I looked down at him, thinking it over but deciding against it.

"Snape would find out and I'd get detention. Thank you though." I sighed, going to put my stuff away in my dorm and headed back down, ready to go do my rounds.

"Who do you have rounds with today?" George asked curiously. I noticed Oliver had already gone up to bed.

"Cedric Diggory." I told them and Fred suddenly wore an unreadable expression on his face.

"See you tomorrow." I smiled and waved at them before leaving the common room and meeting Cedric at the Great Hall.

"Hi." Cedric smiled down at me and I chuckled.

     "Hey Diggory."

We talked quidditch as we did our rounds, sent Malfoy back to his house, threatening to take more than ten points from Slytherin. By the time our rounds were finished, I was exhausted.

"Good luck at the game this weekend!" Cedric waved goodbye and I thanked him.

When I got back to the common room, I noticed Fred asleep on the couch. I smiled and pulled a blanket over him, freezing when he stirred in his sleep. I yawned and quietly went upstairs to grab my potions homework and settled down at the empty table in the common room to finish my essay.

Once I finished, I packed my stuff and contemplated waking Fred up so he could go sleep in his bed. I walked over to him and chuckled when I saw his mouth hanging open.
