"Steven!" iris shouted he was a huge monster on the beach the front of the house was destroyed the warp pad went off "Reinforcements are! Huh??" She saw the destruction "calm down son take deep breaths deep breaths!" "Yeah relax buddy!" He turned around and roared bismuth lapis and peridot landed on the beach "let's hurry up and clobber that thing!" Garnet put her hand up "stand down" "what for!?" "Where's steven" lapis asked "that is Steven" they all gasped steven smashed his head into the temple "run!" They ran out of the way before the rocks hit them "he's not listening to us at all" "what happened to him first he says he's a shatterer then he's turned into this thing!" Pearl said "can't we change him back?" Iris asked las long as he believes he's a monster that's what he'll be" Steven started to go towards the town "we have to keep him away from town" "connie iris do what you can to protect the towns people" "right!" They said together and went off to the town on lion "you three get him into the ocean and hold him there. Let's go guys" the three of them fused into alexandrite steven roared the people in the town ran away from the area alexandrite jumped onto steven covering his eyes he tried getting them off so he smashed them into the rock causing them to unfuse bismuth and peridot went across his face he looked to them "sorry steven!" Peridot shouted he ran after them over the water lapis summoned water chains and trapped Steven in them he roared trying to get out of them "got him but I can't hold him forever" "now what do we do?" Amethyst asked "we can't just leave him like this" "we need to reach him some how we need to bring out his humanity" "you know who'd be great at that" "who?!" "Steven!" The diamonds ship came over "you hoo!" Steven!" Spinel shouted "is this a bad time?" Blue asked "you gotta be kidding me" spinel hopped out "you forgot your foot thong thingy! Oh what!" "What is going on" yellow asked "why does something like this always happen when we show up to visit" white stared "what is that thing?" "That thing is steven" they all gasped "What?" "Impossible" "is he corrupted?" "But how?" "Never mind that we have to change him back" garnet stated "leave it to me" yellow rubbed her hands together and shot yellow with her power she shrank his head but then it went back to the large size he roared "with my new power I should be able to alter his physical form" "he's resisting, maybe he needs to feel better first I can help with that" she summoned a cloud and blew it towards him he roared and blasted it back towards her "look out!" Yellow pushed blue out of the way so she wouldn't get hit by the cloud she and spinel started laughing yellow put a hand on blue's shoulder. Blue smiled a bit "wow your new power didn't work either!" She said through laughter white pushed them out of the way "enough I know exactly how to help if I connect with him and he speaks through me maybe we'll understand what he's going through" she walked to him in the water "Now then just relax and let me in" her eyes glowed she fell back "white!" Yellow shouted her and blue went and held her "what happened?" Blue asked "that's not steven anymore" he made a huge blast making the diamonds fly back yellow and blue landed by each other the crystal gems also fell and so did the diamond ship garnet unfused the cluster came out of the earth and kept steven from getting to them on the beach everyone sat up pearl looked up and gasped "the cluster's trying to hold steven back"  "I can't believe it he's even stronger than the cluster!" Peri shouted "don't let your guard down he could break free at any moment" "deep inside this monster steven must be in there so angry" Pearl stared "I knew something was going on why didn't I do anything" "if we don't get through to him he'll stay like this forever" sapphire and ruby cried together" greg backed up "greg get out of here" "no! All I've done is run away I'm not leaving this time and he's right to be angry because I didn't protect him" "you didn't protect him from us! He's like this because of us" blue cried out yellow put her hand on blue's shoulder "we're the source of steven's suffering!" Spinel burst out crying "This is my fault" she fell back crying on yellow's shoulder  "spinel don't be silly it's all because of me!" "No it's me!" She pointed to herself "I tried to wipe his friend's memories so he would die alone on a barren world!" "That was because you were angry with pink and if pink hurt you it was because I hurt her like I hurt yellow, and blue, and steven, and iris, and everyone in the entire universe. This is all my fault!" "Yes it is!" Iris shouted they looked to see her and connie on lion "yes you all hurt him but this isn't about you that is not helping!" Connie yelled "maybe steven would care how bad you are because he always puts others first!" "But this time we have to help steven because he's not himself at the moment!" Iris said "we all had steven to help and the only person who hadn't had steven is steven he's always been there for us and now we have to be in there for him" ruby and sapphire smiled and fused together again "I know how" garnet said "lapis you keep steven still, yellow make me as big as him" "right" "let's give steven some love" lapis used water to hold him back everyone ran after him "STEVEN!!" They all shouted garnet jumped "Steven!" She tackle hugged him steven tried fighting back "steven when I fell apart you were there for me I want to be there for you now I'm here steven I'm here" his eyes widened "irks working? You hear us? Steven!" Lapis flew to him and hugged him as well everyone else slowly came over and hugged him white was hesitant and just put her hands on him and gave and awkward smile "I'm here shtewball whatever you need I'll make it happen you here me!" Greg banged his hands on his son "steven you never gave up on me for some reason and I'm not about to give up on you!" Peridot shouted "I know you feel bad I get it but it's going to get better even though you may feel that you're never going to like yourself it's possible man!" "Steven I know how awful it feels to keep apart of yourself secret you shouldn't have to hide anything from us!" Steven made noises the cluster held his hand iris and connie jumped onto his nose from lion connie went to him and laid on him iris sat down "steven you must have been so afraid to show us this side of you but we're not going anywhere we're all gonna take care of you the same way you take care of us I know I don't have your healing powers but" she kissed him steven started crying his tears dripping into the water making it pink all around them there was a glow steven was back to his normal self again he got covered in a blanket everyone was looking at him he sat up "I, did I, I'm" lion went in front of him and licked his face he laughed and hugged his pet "lion" he sobbed into lion a couple of hours later the diamonds and spinel left on the ship iris had went with them instead of using the warp pad she and spinel were laying in blue's hair loop together "Iris you should get some rest" Yellow told her "why?" "It's been a long day" "but I'm not" she yawned "tired" she leaned against blue and fell asleep quickly spinel did the same "well that was quicker then I anticipated eh blue" she was asleep siting down "she's asleep" white stated "I can see that" white looked down "do you think steven actually likes us?" Yellow looked over to her "what makes you think that?" "Well his family all get annoyed whenever we show up and he rarely ever visits unless he needs something" "Mh I suppose but we have spinel and iris with us now too and even though pinks gone and Steven doesn't see us very often anymore we still have each other" "yeah" "but what about me mother?" White and yellow looked to the direction of the voice "Azula!" Yellow said and moved backwards Azula went towards her and looked up at yellow and white. Azula wasn't much taller than blue at her normal height "what do you want Azula" "you know what I want" "you're Not doing that"she smirked "oh but I can" she walked towards blue "Don't you dare go near them" yellow growled  "I wouldn't take another step closer if I were you unless you want mom and iris dead" "why are you doing this!?" "Because I really do hate you all" "but why" "that will all be explained soon enough" she went back over to them "now if you excuse me I have so much to do and such little time to do it" and with that Azula vanished
