Garnet amethyst pearl and iris's gems were lying on the ground I got up and summoned my shield "that's enough!" "Aw what's the matter steven miss your friends already? Well don't worry you won't be far behind" she did a flip and hit my shield and broke it, the scythe sliced my arm I didn't poof "hahaha that was nothing!" I said confident spinel giggled "then I guess you won't mind if I do it again!" She kept hitting me I grabbed the scythe she was still holding it "you don't poof do you? Figured as much just wait your human half won't stand a chance against my injector not after what I did to your gem" "what are you talking about" "you weren't always a powerful hero were you?" She started laughing I took the scythe from her and poofed her I sat on the ground and sighed I put the scythe down and went to bubble her gem but it popped "what?" I tried again but my bubble wasn't there I held her gem "come onnn" I tried but it didn't work I looked at my gem it's glow was fading I grabbed the gems as well as iris's breathing tube and oxygen and brought them inside and placed them on the table dad ran in "steven are you okay?" He looked at their gems "holy shhhe really got everybody is that her?" He asked looking at the pink hearted gem "yeah" "who?" "No idea" "why?" He half shouted "No idea" I held my head "how!" "She hit all of us with this" I took the scythe from my pocket and made it to its full size dad freaked out I put it way "it did something to extra weird to me and now my powers are messed up "look" I summoned my shield it glitched then went away I lifted up my shirt "there's something wrong with me dad" I held my head "I just I thought everything was good everything was finally safe but no she showed up and now everyone is poofed iris's started to glow she reformed but as a baby she landed on the table "w-what" she looked at me and started to cry "want mommy! Want momma!" dad picked her up "shh it's okay little one" she looked at me and reached he arms out "Steven I think she wants you to hold her" I took her from dad "what's going on" Pearls gem glowed and floated in the air a shell was  sounding it "please identify yourself" pearl said through her gem "GLOWEY!" Baby iris shouted "greetings glowy please state prefered customization options" "what's going on here?" Dad asked "I don't know "default form selected please stand by" pearl reformed I gave iris to dad we went over to her "pearl!" I shouted I went up to her "pearl thank goodness your back" she smiled and went to dad and iris "huh?" She bowed and took iris from dad "How do you do my little glowey thank you for bringing me into the world. I am at your eternal service welcome to your new pearl" iris grabbed her her nose we looked at her gem "whaaaats going on!" "Could her gem be cracked?" Dad asked "it looked fine to me" ruby's gem glowed she reformed "ruby!" I ran to her "are are you okay?" She was doing the diamond symbol "ah who are you?" She got into a fighting position "you're not my assignment" "we could really use an explanation here "allow me to aluminate" pearl stated  she went over to ruby "a ruby guard but just a single one they tent to come in teams of three or more" sapphire reformed "a precious sapphire she sees the future that's what the rubies for" "buuby sapyre!" Iris shouted "very good my glowey" "my sapphire as my sworn duty I will protect you with my life" "and that's why I see you lasting only half a day come along" She shooed her away from amethyst as she reformed  "amethyst!" I went over to her "hey amethyst?" I asked "hey amethyst?" She repeated I shook my head "no you're amethyst" she did the same "no you're amethyst" "you must be right this is an amethyst except amethyst is big and  strong this one is not the best example something is clearly wrong" pearl handed iris to sapphire she took her  "I do say something is clearly wrong what are all these gems doing in this strange place" "pearl don't you recognize them don't you recognize me?" I asked her she hummed "I do know my glowey" she took her from sapphire "oh she's a diamond who knew" "you do!" I shouted iris cried the heart gem glowed get back I summoned my shield but it glitched our and went away again the gem went right side up she reformed and stretched out her arms and tackle hugged me "I'm so exited to meet you" "you're not mad?" I asked "why would I be mad at my best friend" she giggled "this will be fun aren't you the lucky one her cut is perfect and she's pink as well" she started dancing "she'll bring you endless entertainment your new best friend spinel!" I stared at her and pointed "YOUUUUUUUUUU!" I ran and shook her "what have you done to us" she laughed and booped my nose "boop now it's your turn" she hugged me and shook me "would you cut that out!" She looked at me "please?" I asked she dropped me "hey look there's more gems let's ask them to play" "wait a minute you don't remember" "remember what?" We went outside to the injector "wow wee that thing sure is big! You wanna climb it's or something" "wait wait are you serious right now what about that stuff you said about how I won't stand a chance against your injector" she scratched her head "I said what now?" "You really don't remember huh?" Lion walks up to us "how about you lion can you make any sense of this? At least I can store this thing in your mane" it didn't work "oh come on that's like the easiest thing I do!" I looked at the injector "what do I do I have no friends to help me except bismuth lapis and peridot" "bout mommy momma amb gama" iris asked "no definitely not" we went to little homeworld I brought iris with us "she rode in on that?" Peridot asked "yeah she said my human half won't stand a chance against her injector "why don't we just ask her?" "Well here's the thing" she tapped my shoulder "huh" "surprise" I squealed "here she is my new best friend spinel" "a pleasure to meet you all" "I thought you said she was just trying to kill you" bismuth said "wow quick turn around" "no kidding it room me months to stop trying to kill him and wait where's iris?" I laughed nervously sapphire showed them iris who was in a baby carrier "she's a baby!" I nodded "but how?" "Spinel used this" I showed them the scythe "it's a rejuvenator" bismuth made it come out "homeworld used to use these things on gems that would step out of line one hit with this and you would go back to the beginning" we looked at ruby sapphire and iris sapphire was playing with her well I'm glad she's found of her that's a start  "what are you looking at" "so that's why she's a baby" "oh my stars I touched it I could have lost all my character development wait how did you survive being hit by that thing steven?" "I I think I didn't my human half kept me from poofing but my gem half it took the hit she sent me back it's like I'm that little annoying kid all over again" iris laughed does she remember that? I thought to myself "how do I reverse this do I need to get the diamonds" iris smiled "Mommy momma!" "You have healing powers if anyone can fix this it's you" lapis told me "I can't believe this it's the first time in years everyone's in danger everybody needs me and i'm useless" I looked at the injector "bismuth what do we do?" "I'm sorry steven I don't know what to do" I looked at ruby and sapphire ruby gave me a glare and crossed her arms while sapphire cradles iris "garnet would know what do do garnet always knows what to do" I sniffed spinel hugged me well sorta "hey don't be sad your new best friend your new best friend your new best friend spinel! is here!" She laughed and did a head stand making iris laugh wow she and yellow are really alike she laughs at even the slightest of jokes mainly blue's I sighed "Here we are in the future here we are in the future and it's wrong Just a second ago, we were singing this song And now, they're gone, because of her Happily ever after, there we were" bismuth started to sing "When has it ever been easy? Hasn't it always been hard to be us? When you go against the grain There's always somebody around you can't trust That's why we've got to have each other While we'll figure this out, we must! Because we are the Crystal Gems, And we never give up, We never give up on our friends As long as one of us is standing to brandish the star, We'll find a way, To save the day, That's who we are!"
