Luna watched as the three girls rushed out of the restaurant towards her, worried looks etched onto all of their faces. Bella looked frantic and held her phone up to her, showing her how many times she had called her friend while Angela looked apologetic and Jessica looked anxious. Jasper slowly approached the girls from behind Luna as to not gain attention to himself.
"Where the hell were you, Lune?" Her friend asked, "Bella called you about forty times."
Angela looked at Luna with an apologetic look in her eye "Yeah we were waiting but then you never came so we just got food without you-"
Luna pulled her phone and saw the calls that she hadn't even noticed were coming through "I know, I know, I'm sorry. Something happened and then I met up with him along the way." She gestured to the dirty-blonde behind her.
Jasper was now standing next to her as he looked between the girls "I'm sorry for stealing Luna, I hope I didn't keep her from anything too important."
"Oh..." Jessica's signature smirk returned "No it's alright."
Bella's brows furrowed as she held her book she had bought before in her hands, looking at Luna with curiosity. Luna blushed and mouthed "I'll text you."
"I'll make sure she eats. If that's okay?" He suggested.
"That's so thoughtful," Angela commented.
Jessica agreed "Very thoughtful."
"Okay, we should get going now." Bella finally told the girls "We'll see you tomorrow, Luna."
Bella brought her hands around the backs of Angela and Jessica before slowly guiding them away. Bella looked back at the girl as she walked away and wiggled her brows while Luna looked over her shoulder at her. Luna shook her head and let out a quiet chuckle before following Jasper into the restaurant.
When inside, the two were sat in a booth near the corner of the restaurant. Luna has dozens of questions that she was unsure if she wanted to hear the answers to. Jasper kept his gaze on her when she finally asked, "How did you know I was in the alleyway? Were you following me?"
"No." He answered.
"Then how'd you know, Jasper?" She repeated "You can tell me. Just please don't lie to me about it."
Jasper looked her in the eyes and stated, "Alice saw you."
"She saw me? Was she passing the same street or something?"
"No." He shook his head lightly "She's at home but she had a vision and saw you."
Luna opened her mouth however nothing came out. She couldn't help but let out a nervous laugh and adjusted in her seat, leaning back. Jasper noticed her reaction and couldn't help but feel slightly embarrassed, knowing full well she didn't believe him. At the exact moment, the waitress came by and put down a glass plate.
