Back to Ellie's PoV
Me and brook have been in here for about 10 minutes now, we've been laughing, almost crying and it has been really good, even though it kind of sucks being in here. It's so warm, I can hardly breathe, well not really but it definitely feels like it. My mind was going crazy, I kept looking at Brooklyn, I had the urge to hug him, I went up to him and put my arms around his neck, he instantly put his arms around my waist, in a way a real gentleman would. Even though I felt like I was in an oven and Brooklyn's warm was almost killing me, I really liked it. I could do this forever. But after a while I let go,
Brooklyn- what was that for?
He said that with a big smile, a cute one I must admit.
Ellie- for being so nice and welcoming to me, I really appreciate it, thank you
Brooklyn- that's okay Ellie, you deserve it. Do you have any nicknames?
Ellie- well I have one with some people use, El, you can call me that if you'd like, what about you?
Brooklyn- everyone calls me brook, but I don't mind you can make one up or use that
Ellie- I'll do both
I smiled at him and he smiled back. I was still standing close I'm front of him, I looked up at him, he leaned down, his face came close to mine, I closed my eyes, but we instantly parted as we heard sonny's voice near. We looked at each other, with a smile knowing that it was the wrong timing but maybe the right moment they could come and find us. They eventually found us, Robbie opened the door within a few moments. Brooklyn let me out first, the door opened, the light hit my eyes, I couldn't see for a few moments, but then I saw rye. For a split second he looked sad, but then he was happy to see me
Rye- hey you alright?
Ellie- yeah I'm fine, little bit hot though I must admit it was like a sauna in there
Brooklyn- did you get everything?
Robbie- yeah we were just about to pay. We wondered where you were.
We explained about how me and Brooklyn got stuck in a shed, but never said anything about our hug or almost kiss. we headed back to the car after we paid. I walked with rye, we didn't really talk to each other, we listened to the others talking, I knew something was on his mind but I couldn't think what.
We got back to the house, after the boys put away the new things they brought, we all went in. I sat in the garden. Rye was somewhere, he was the only one inside. Brooklyn and sonny got the paint ready for the competition.
Brooklyn- hey el, do you want to paint?
Ellie- are you sure you don't need all the paint?
Sonny- I think we have enough paint to paint the house
We all started laughing,
Ellie- okay then, I'll get some in a minute, I'm going to go find rye. I'll be back soon
Sonny- see you soon
I headed inside, I looked everywhere on the bottom floor, then I went upstairs, I headed to ryes room, it was closed, I knocked on the door, nothing, I tried to open it but it was locked, so I knew he was in there
Ellie- rye, are you okay hun?
A few moments later the door unlocked, he opened the door. I looked at him, he had a smile on him but I knew there was sadness behind it
Rye- hey, what's up
Ellie- i wanted to know if you were okay, you seem really upset
Rye- I'm okay
Ellie- really?
I lifted my eyebrows to show him that he can't lie to me, I knew something was bothering him.
Rye- you right, come in
He opened the door, I walked in. He took my hand and led me to the sofa.
