I don't wish my mother loved me; I already have a family.

We walked out of the lift together, Mariano was already there; he's been doing better since he started visiting the psychologist. Allegra is not here currently, she's back in her city apartment since she got a job at an important fashion house; I'm proud of her, we all are. And we see her often, she comes to have dinner every other day.

Anyway, let's start with this year's awaited event: Bloodchella.

"Hi, mom," the woman is hanging from the ceiling with thick chains and so is my so-called brother.

"You're a lunatic," my brother growled. Why does he have to be such a cliché?

A deep sigh left my mouth "It runs in the family, you probably are too." Emma stayed quiet with her gaze down "Do you know how Viola died?"

"I don't care," she replied weakly.

They've been down here for two months and only eat once a day because if I didn't feed them they would die and that's not the goal...I mean it is but not by starvation."She didn't die of impact; the crash my father staged didn't kill her...she was burned alive," I held back the tears. "And that's how your precious baby boy is going to die today," my eyes found Apollo who had a gallon of alcohol in his hands.

Russo squirmed around as my husband approached him "Mom! Do something!"

"She only cares about herself, Russo," I informed.

"MOM!" Apollo emptied the liquid over my brother's head getting it in every corner of his body.

"Just shut up, Russo, there's nothing we can do," Emma whispered. "Accept your death and go peacefully, don't give her what she wants," mommy dearest gazed at me with rage in her eyes. "Whore."

"Whore?" my right eyebrow arched "is that supposed to be an insult?" Emma seemed frustrated because I'm not giving her what she wants "Anyway," a deep sigh left my mouth as I picked up a black drop point blade "I've dismantled every single one of your companies, your employees are now mine plus I found certain someone," her strong mask melted to turn into one full of fear. "What? Cat ate your tongue, mommy?"

"Don't you dare–"

"Don't worry, I'm not like you, mom; Chiara will be safe with me." It turns out we found a five-year-old back at my mom's home, she was being taken care of by a group of nuns and as you can imagine she is one of my many scattered siblings. The little girl had signs of physical abuse like cigarette burns on the nape of her neck, she was really scared when we first met, on the plane ride back she cried so much we had to sedate her...it's truly heartbreaking but she'll be safe with us.

I am as shocked as you are but isn't that what happens when most parents separate? They start new lives, have more children and find happiness all over again which makes you feel like you were actually never their happiness because the marriage ended horribly.

"Let's play," I put the knife down and approached the fireplace where there were two hot sticks waiting to be used; I missed them. With a red kitchen mitten protecting my right hand I grabbed the one with my initials on it "Mommy when you get burned flesh has its own life, it's unbelievably sensitive; no blood though," slowly, I approached her until she was three feet away from me. "The first time I killed someone I impaled her for trying to get in bed with my now-husband, I deskinned dad's dick...I've killed many, mommy but this is who you and dad agreed to turn me into," I pressed the heated iron against her right nipple; at first she didn't let out a sound although her face turned slowly red then a delightful scream left her mouth. "That's it, let it all out," a big smile appeared on my lips as Andrea took the branding iron from me.
