Gabb's POV

Sinoshoot ngayon ang scenes nina Dana and Jem habang pinag-uusapan at ginagawan ng paraan ang skandalong ginagamit nina Brei laban sa kanila. Malayo na sila samin. Samantalang naiwan naman kami ng girls dito, kasama na si Ella na nakaupo lang sa tapat namin ni Kaycee.

Bumalik na si Kaycee,

"Ano yan?." Tanong ko.

"Guitar. I borrowed it from Brei." Sabay abot niya sakin. Dali niya talagang makaalala ng mga pangalan ng tao.

"Aanhin ko naman to?."

"Sing me a song please. Just like how we first met in that party."

"Hmm okay. What song do you want me to sing?."

"Anything you want. Uhm sige--what song do you want to dedicate Ella?."

"Bakit si Ella?."

"Eh kasi except me siya yung pinakaclose mo dito right? I mean your roles are best friends."

"Well, roles lang namin. Not in real life."

"What? Why? She seems nice. Besides, kanina pa siyang nakatingin satin. Kaya I thought she's jealous."

"Si Ella? Nagseselos?. Bakit naman sya magseselos?."

"That usually happens between really close friends you know. I'm like that sometimes. I easily get threatened every time I see my girl best friend treats other girls the way she treated me. I feel like I'm no longer that special to her. Na I'm just like the rest of the girls na kilala niya."

"Don't you think that baka you're secretly in love with your best friend? Haha."

"What? Of course not. Gabb, you can't just mistake friendship with love. Those two things are completely different. In my case, I only see her as a sister. Walang malice. But sometimes, you have to realize na her world doesn't revolve around you. That she could meet and be friends with other people too. Kaya I keep that feeling inside me nalang instead of causing a conflict. Anyway, sige na. Sing."

Napalingon ako kay Ella. Hmm ano nga bang kanta ang idededicate ko sa kanya?. Nagtama ang tingin namin ni Ella saglit at tumingin nako ulit kay Kaycee.

"Okay here it goes." Sabi ko.

Napatingin silang lahat sakin the moment I sang. May iba pang nagpipicture at nagvivideo habang kinakantahan ko si Kaycee.

Naunang makahanap ng donor ang parents ko for me, that means susunod nako sa kahit anong gusto nilang gawin ko after the operation.

Nang makapunta nako sa States, kinonfiscate ng parents ko ang kahit anong gadget na magagamit ko to contact Ella. This is part of our deal.

Pero isang linggo palang ang nakakalipas hindi ko na matiis si Ella. So gumawa ako ng paraan. I used the old school type of communication. Sinulatan ko siya at ipinadala ko ito kay Rans so she could send it to Ella. Para kung nagkataong mahuli ako ng parents ko that I'm sending letters to the Philippines, hindi na sila mababother dahil hindi si Ella ang pinapadalhan ko.

Araw araw ko yung ginawa. Sinusulat ko lahat ng mga nangyayari sakin sa loob ng dalawang taon. Pero ni isang sagot galing kay Ella wala. Pero wala akong pakialam kasi mahal ko siya. Wala akong pakialam kahit na nagmumukha nakong tanga.

Then one night broke my heart when she posted a picture with a guy na nakaakbay pa sa kanya. Kaya pala kasi may bago na siya. I got really depressed that my parents sent me to a mental institution para lang bumalik ako sa dati. At dun ko nakilala si Kai. He's also a patient there. He lost his girlfriend two years ago. She committed suicide. Just like Jace did for me.

Habang nilalabanan namin ang lungkot, natagpuan naman namin ang isa't isa. 1 year later nakalabas na kami and then he introduced me to his world and most of all, music.

I found a passion that I never thought of having before. In this world where all I wanted to do is forget about Ella, he reminded me about myself. He encouraged me to follow my dreams. At natupad ko nga lahat ng yun.

Pero dahil din sa music nagtagpo ulit ang landas namin ni Ella. I actually chose the unit next to Ella because it plays good classical music. Nung una hindi ko pa alam na siya pala ang nakatira dun. Hindi ko kasi madalas nakikita ang nakatira dun kasi madalas maaga akong umaalis, and knowing Ella na sobrang tagal gumising kaya palagi siyang late. Tapos minsan lang siya umuwi dun sa unit niya.

Kaya lumipas ang isang buwan bago ko pa nalamang siya pala ang nakatira sa katabi kong unit. She got drunk from a party one night and hinatid siya ng isang lalaki. Must be her new boyfriend.

"Good." Walang expression niyang sabi habang dahan dahang tumabi kay Direk Marvin.

"Good lang?." Malungkot na tanong ni Direk. Nakatingin parin ako kay Ella. Parang nasaktan ako. Ganito pala pag wala nang pakialam sayo yung taong minsan mong minahal ng sobra.

"Uhm excuse me lang po Direk, can I--" sabat ko. Hindi ko na talaga matiis. Pumayag na siya at pagdating ko sa backstage, dun nako tuluyang maiyak. Bakit Ella? Bakit mo ko kailangang saktan ng ganito?.
