"It's not nothing if you have to say it's nothing. A bit like having power or being pregnant," Beck stumbled closer, offering his hand out. "Come on, let's go find Keiji. He'll want to see you." Beck's eyes were imploring. Open and deceivingly honest, it was almost easy to forget that a few weeks prior Beck had been shooting at him and his friends.

"I'm good, thank you," Sen didn't run. Running was bad, even now being a civilian; Running made them want to chase. He did calmly walk away and ignore at Beck jogged to catch up with him. A heavy arm landed over his shoulders to pull him close. Beck's warmth covered his side and Sen had to resist leaning into it.

"Don't be like that," Beck coaxed, leaning close to his ear. "I could make it an order if it's easier?"

The words were friendly, but the tone behind them, intentionally or not made Sen trembled. Beck could order him to go with him. The law decreed that civilians were to obey express orders given by the Swords or risk grave punishment. He hadn't considered that little fack. He had no protection.

"Why can't you just leave me alone?" Sen's voice broke slightly much to his shame.

Beck spun him around and looked him seriously in the eyes. "Sen," he murmured. "You know us; we won't hurt you. Why are you scared? You've never been scared before." There was a touch of bemusement to the words. Sen half snorted, half laughed. There were definitely times where he had not been scared when he had supposed to be. The guards at the detention centre had seen to that brutally.

"Just what are you two up to?" Kenji's voice murmured from behind Sen. Sen tensed, not surprised as an arm wrapped around his waist. He flinched as it hugged just a little too hard.

"Just talking," Sen breathed, not looking at Kenji.

Beck narrowed his eyes and looked over Sen's body again. "Wondering why Sen is suddenly scared of us despite not being so throughout the war," Beck noted, stepping forward and into Sen's space more, leaving him sandwiched tight between the two men and very hot. Sen was sure they'd be able to feel how fast his heart was pounding. "He just flinched, sir," Beck informed his commander calmly as the two of them shouldered him into an alley and out of the main street.

"You hurt Sen?"

"No more than anyone else who's been in a centre."

"You scared of us now?" Keiji's lips brushed against his ear lobe. His grip was secure, and Beck was not helping. Hands were pulling at his clothes and not letting him struggle.

"From the man pinning me while his companion undressed me in an alleyway."

Beck paused, and Keiji snorted. "I can see how this might be concerning, but you were scared before," Beck challenged but continue to undo his coat and reach under his top. Keiji kissed the side of his face and Sen closed his eyes as Keiji lifted it to get a good look. The hiss was everything he needed to know.

"We need a chat with the detention centre guards," Beck said darkly, things tracing over the cuts. Healed now but scarred, ignoring the vast patches of much fewer bruises, the brand was more significant. "You're the Emperor's nephew!"
