Okay Harrison. Just...breathe. You've known this...amazing girl your whole life. Just-The door abruptly opens, and there stands y/n. Wow! A grin plasters across my face as I hope eye contact with y/n.

"Hey!" She says, quickly pulling me inside her house.

She turns a bright shade of pink, realizing what she just did.

"H-h-i-i...uh...hi y/n," I stutter, clearing my throat, continuing to gaze into her hazel eyes.

She leads me to the living room, while she finishes cooking dinner in the kitchen. Tell her Haz! After tonight, she could either hate you or love you. I snap back to reality, staring at my surroundings, my leg bouncing like crazy. I take off my shoes, get up from the couch, and join y/n. I quietly walk into the kitchen, not wanting to scare y/n. She was at the stove, stirring away at something in a pot. I could hear a faint humming coming from her. I smile a little, watching as she shifts from one side of the counter to the other.

I wrap my arms around her waist, catching her off guard.

"Hello love," I whisper, pulling her closer to my chest.

Y/n giggles and spins around in her place.

"Are you almost done?" I ask, adjusting my grasp, "I'm getting hungry."

I whine, as y/n laughs, turning her attention back to the food.

"Is someone hangry?" She asks.

"Yes..." I mumble, jumping onto the counter next to her.

She glances over at me, giving the "get down from there" look. Embarrassed, I slowly slide off, and lean up against it.

"Hey would you-" y/n begins to say.

"I love you!" I say.

Y/n drops the ladle, and quickly picks it up, all flustered. This is going to be the end of everything! You're such an idiot Haz!

"I am so sorry. I...uh...I'll just set the table," I say in a panic.

"Wait!" She calls out to me, "Just...let me process-"

"I know I laid that all onto to you and you can hate me for all eternity. I am-" I ramble to her, watching her walk into the dinning room.

"You...you love me?" She asks, her voice cracking at the latter half of her statement.

"I know! I'm such an idiot to think you felt the same way. It was a huge misunderstanding and I'm so sorry," I continue to tell her.

I frantically sit in the chair adjacent to where I was standing, with my head in my hands.

"You're such an idiot Haz! Such an idiot!" I scream, kicking the chair next to me.

I see y/n flinch out the corner of my blurry vision.

"I'm not mad at you," y/n whispers, squatting in front of me, "I'm just shocked at the fact you actually like me, let alone love me."

I feel her pull me in for a hug, rubbing my back, until I was calm. I pull away, while wiping away tears with me sleeve, and just staring at the floor. My eyes wonder from the floor, and my hand finds y/n's hand and I play with her ring.

"I-I...love you y/n," I whisper, not looking in her direction, "And I have always loved you for as long as I could remember. Since the first day we met."

I quickly glance up at her, to find tears rolling down her cheek.

"Hey don't cry," I nervously laugh, the tears coming back to me as well.

I pull her in for another hug, giving her a kiss in the process.

"I love you. I love you so much."

We sit there for a moment, in silence.

"Can I ask you a question?" Y/n laughs, pulling away from me and wiping away tears.

I look down at her soft hazel eyes.

"Is this the part where you ask me to be your girlfriend?"

I just smile, pulling her in for a long-awaited kiss.

"I think we already covered that," I say to her, smiling like an idiot.
