Nikola's Point of View
"The breakfast is served." Energetic na saad sa amin ni Manang Lhy.
"Where's TeDa and SaMo by the way?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Kuya Ei.
"Who are they?" Sunod na tanong ni Nikole.
"Ah, they are our parents and they are also in the business trip right now." Sagot ko sa mga tanong nila.
"Ahhh" mahinang anas ng kambal na siyang nagpapahayag sa amin na naintindihan na nila ito.
"So, shall we pray now so that we can start to eat?" Pag-aayang tanong sa amin ni Ririe.
"That's very nice idea before we start eating Curie." Nakangiting sabi ni Nikole.
"Oh ate, just call me Ririe since we're close enough na naman." Sabi ni Ririe at kumindat pa.
We all start to pray to thank for the blessings that we have. Well as you see, even if you had gone too far in your career, even if you were wealthy people, you still need to have a time to pray and thank all of the gifts that you receive everyday. You might not appreciate some of those gifts but if you look further, you will realize that it is important. Like when you woke up in the morning and start another day, that might be too common for all of us, pero kung iisipin natin, maraming ibang tao ang gustong mabuhay pa sa mundong ito but they didn't have a chance to wake up again. And in that case, I must say our life, is still important, and we need to take care of it, and most especially, thank for it.
As we start to eat our breakfast which are the salad, pancakes and milk. Sinimulan kong ihiwalay ang pasas at pickles sa salad. I really hate it. But my attention was caught when Nikole did the same thing like I do. I mean, as in, sabay na sabay kami. That may be the reason kung bakit siguro kami pinagtitinginan ngayon dito.
"You hate raisins and pickles too?" I asked out of curiosity. Malay mo, she's just copying what I do.
"Uh, yeah, super." Sabi niya habang tumatango-tango siya.
I heard a little 'ahhh' sound in my siblings who is currently eating too.
Matapos kong kalahatiin ang salad ko, I felt thirst. Kukuha na sana ako ng water mixed with mint na nasa pitcher kaso naunahan ako ni Nikole. Nagulat ako nang kinuha niya ang whipped cream at naglagay nun sa taas at saka pinisikan ito ng lemon bago niya ito inumin.
