Chapter 7

At 9am Yammy FaceTimed me, she just talk about how good her date was with Kyle. I was really happy for her, she then said to me that Kyle wanted a second date. Wow. I feel so happy for Yammy.
Lizzie: when is it going to be official
Yammy: what's official
Lizzie: you dating Kyle
Yammy: he never asked me out, he just wanted a second date
Lizzie: I bet he is going to ask you out on the second date, when is it
Yammy: next weekend
Lizzie: I've got to go now, see you tomorrow at school
Yammy: schools not on tomorrow, it's a teacher training day
Lizzie: well see you soon
Yammy: bye
My mum called me and said that it was my turn to make dinner.
"It's not even half way through the day yet"
"I know just warning you"
I go back upstairs and I was about to call back Yammy, but instead I got a text from Joel
He said
"Hi"
Lizzie: hello
Joel: I have a question for you
Lizzie: Ok, what is it
Joel: do you want to go out on a date with me
Lizzie : don't you have a girlfriend
Joel: we just broke up
Lizzie: why
Joel: we kept on getting into lots of arguments and she was so rude to everyone
Lizzie: oh, and are you speaking to the right person, I am Lizzie
Joel: I am speaking to the right person
Lizzie: out of all people me
Joel: is that a yes or no
Lizzie: yes
Joel: meet me at blossom park at 6pm tomorrow
Lizzie: alright
I squealed and clutched my phone to my chest. My mum shouted
"Elizabeth, are you Ok"
"Yeah i'm fine mum"
I can't believe Joel actually asked me out on a date. I text Yammy everything, she said she was so happy for me.
Yammy: i am coming to your house at 9am
Lizzie: is it gonna be exactly the same as what happened for your date but the other way around
Yammy: yep
Lizzie: Ok then see you tomorrow
I still cant believe it, i'm about to go on a date with the boy of my dreams, I hope Laura doesn't find out and kill me.
Magical time skip to the next day
Today is the day, the day that I can go on a date with the boy of my dreams. It's 8am, Yammy is going to be here in an hour. I get in the shower then get dressed, brush my teeth, brush my hair and eat some breakfast. It's 8:37 right now, i try and kill some time by watching some YouTube videos. I hear a knock at the door, I open it and Yammy runs in and gives me a hug,
Yammy: congratulations girl
Lizzie: thanks, but should we try to get me ready now
Yammy: yea of course
We run upstairs and Yammy raids my wardrobe like I did to hers. She pulls out a white crop top and a pair of black leggings, she gives me my white trainers back to go with the outfit. I put the clothes on and when I walk out the room Yammy gives me the sign of approval and the puts my hair up in a bun and does my makeup, it was very subtle and it looked really nice. It was now 4:17, we had a lot of time to kill so we excited to make some brownies and then watch some Netflix. The brownies we made were really nice and we saved a few for my mum and Maddie. It was now time to leave to go to the park
