Moon Goddess POV
"Capri can you come?" I called out swirling my wine glass. "Coming" a very faint voice can be heard from upstairs
"Yes moon goddess?" I hear capri ask as he enters
"Capri please we've been together for years call me astarte" I look at him and smile
"Yes right my apologies, you were saying Astarte?" He asked
"Capri look at this, do you see what I'm seeing?"
With that me and capri both looked and what we saw was horrible. The most powerful Alpha, Reece Colt, was murdering ruthlessly without mercy. Rogues who had mates in his land were forced to leave his pack to join their rogue mate.
He feared no one and that would have to change.
"Capri he is placing fear on the whole community, pass me his soul" I yelled and capri went to grab it
"Moon goddess careful don't kill him" I give him a look and slap his shoulder
"Capri please gather yourself I'm just trying to figure out what I can do for him or for me but he won't know anyways I can't have him kill the whole community and its astarte"
"Have an influence through his mate Astarte maybe that would help"
"Your right, but I need someone feisty with a lot of attitude" I said while looking at capri
"Astarte who do we know in my community that's feisty and gives my community and YOUR community hell but in a good way?" He said, filling his finger with a nail file.
"Ashleynne Carter?" I made a quick glance at him
"Yes indeed" Capri smirked
" Ashlynne oh my lanta that girl got a mouth and is very feisty but she's a very powerful witch Capri do you think it's a good idea?" I asked him still unsure
"Carter has his ego so far up his ass thinking he's better than anyone we need someone capable to bring his ego down and once we reach that, we will hopefully achieve what we want" he said looking up from his nails and shrugged
"Capri this is why you're my best friend, you have the best ideas hurry grab her soul and let's get to work" I said, picking up my glass of wine and doing Astarte duties.
"It's mating time babies" I whisper
3rd POV
Just like that the moon goddess has assigned a new pair of mates. It's such a hard task but important. She can't have mates that aren't a match and if she does to wolves will be hurt in the process. She hoped that every couple she made was a good one and they would balance eachother out . Now only time will tell and hopefully they are ready for the war that about to settle
