We had won our first basketball game of the season. I was waiting for Jalen to get finished talking to his fans and start walking off the court.

We weren't really public yet and I didn't really want to be.

I soon saw him walking my way. I saw Jurnee in his arms.

"Jurnee!" I say taking her away from Jalen.

"Kenny!" She yelled excitedly.

Sometimes, when I go over Jalen's house I would hang out with her. She's like a sister to me now. We have such a good bond.

"Okay, Jurnee. Don't steal my girl." Jalen says pushing her away as she walked to her mom.

I hold out my arms big and he quickly hugs me. He slightly groans into the hug.

"You were so good." I say pulling out of the hug.

"Only because you were here. You're my motivation." He says.

I just smile blushing slightly.

"Here. I want you to have this." Jalen says taking off his a necklace and handing it to me.

It was a gold small chain with a 'J' and basketball on it.

"My grandma gave it to me before she past.. but I want you to have it. You remind me of her a little." He says smiling.

"But Jalen... I can't take this. We're not even dating and besides this is a gift you need to keep." I say handing it back.

"Then be my girl." He says quickly.

"What?"

"Be my girl. Break my heart, Bluitt." He says surrendering with his hands.
(A/n: Sorry I HAD to add that line.)

I pout at how cute he is.

"I would never... because i'm your girl and I wouldn't do that to you." I say smiling at him putting my arms around his neck.

He smiles and kisses me.

"Okay, sorry to ruin the moment but Makenna we gotta go." Olivia says from behind the bleachers.

"Right." I say softly.

"I'll text you later." I say walking off.

"Bye crazy hot girlfriend." He said.

I just laughed and waved him off.

Me and Olivia are currently having a sleepover at her house.

"We should go to the store. Get a sugar rush." Liv says.

"Yes, I am feeling that." I say laughing.

We get to the store and just act silly. We do stupid stuff like make a toilet paper fort and throwing objects to other aisles.

We'd already been home for a while. Me and Liv were just in our room talking.

"Me and Jalen are finally official! Look." I say showing her the necklace.

She looks at it and smiles weakly.

"About that..." She says seriously twiddling her fingers.

"Cmon just tell me." I say annoyed.

"I saw Jalen with Madison today." She says.

"Okay... Madison is always messing with Jalen." I say.

"No but... they looked together. They were hugging and... idk maybe its not what I think. But I should thought you should know." Liv says.

"Why didn't he tell me?" I say softly.

"Come here." Liv says pulling me into a hug.
