I can see your heart hanging
When you were not awake
Then you let yourself free
And I saw the same thing
Opening wide and lyrical
It's all we've known
You gave up in eleventh grade
Since they said you're a disappointment
Yet you said, "If I go, I'm going
And there's no looking back"
You took some fleuri
And dressed in a hurricane.
I saw your mind occupied
From the grunge all along
Still it's full but cleaner around.
You weren't awake, you weren't
But now you are and you're conscious
Seven times you came and seven times you went
To escape the world
And then you came back
To the same old town on feet
In the falling snow, you looked up
And saw an aurora of the present
Acoustic, the beautiful broken
You took another fleuri
And dressed in a hurricane.

Window Acoustic
Poetry'Window Acoustic' is a treble and bass of my thoughts. In this collection, one may find poetry born out of light and dark seeking to avoid reality or facing its vice.
