Chapter 2- Adventure Time, Cuts And Cake

:. Crystal's POV .:

"So, watcha wanna do?" I questioned.

"Well, why don't we watch a movie?" Alex suggested.

"Home Alone!" Jack and I shouted at the same time.

"Is it your favourite movie?" Jack inquired.

"Duh, it's the best!" I exclaimed. We then proceeded to watch every Home Alone movie.

We had watched so many movies! Jack and I were sitting next to each other, sharing a blanket. Rian and Alex were next to each other, and on the armchair was Zack by himself. I was getting tired and, well, fell asleep.

:. Jack's POV .:

We had been watching movies for ages and it was getting pretty late when I felt a head on my shoulder. I looked to see who it was and found Crystal sleeping peacefully. She looked so beautiful when she was asleep, I couldn't help but smile.

"Hey, guys, Crystal fell asleep so I'll take her to bed then go to bed myself." I informed them. I got a few 'okay's in reply. I slowly picked her up bridal style, making sure not to wake her.

I couldn't help but think how right it felt with her in my arms, but quickly shook the thought from my mind; saying stuff about her being underage, and now, Rian's daughter.

After putting her to bed I fell into a dreamless sleep.

I awoke in my bed. It seemed like all the boys were asleep, but Crystal was nowhere to be found. So, in only my boxer shorts, I went to the lounge room to watch TV.

When I got there Adventure Time was playing so I jumped onto the couch. That was a bad decision as I found myself in an awkward and almost impossible position.

The position was me with my knees next to Crystal's hips and my hands on top of hers above her head. She had obviously been watching TV.

"Hey Jack, nice shirt." She said, smirking, ignoring the position we were in.

"I just got out of bed and forgot to put one on." I explained.

"So, have you seen this episode of Adventure Time before? I really like it." She said, looking at the screen.

"Yeah, it's a good episode. Hey, you're wearing your purple and red contacts! They look beautiful on you!" I exclaimed, making her blush.

Why does she blush at a simple compliment but keep her cool in a position like this?

"Th-thanks, that's the reason I wear them." She stuttered, trying to hide her blush.

"Why do you hide your blush? It looks so adorable." I whispered, making her face me with my fingers on her chin.

"I d-don't know." She said, blushing slightly harder.

My eyes unintentionally flickered to her lips as she closed her eyes, still blushing. I quickly moved off of her as I didn't trust myself in that position.

"I'm gonna go get some breakfast, be back in a minute." I mumbled, standing up.

Why does she make me feel like this? I've only known her for two days! I mean, sure she's really nice, cool, funny, caring and very beautiful but one: she's only sixteen, two: she's now Rian's daughter, three: this is too fast and four: she obviously doesn't like me.
